A welder is the most appropriate person to meet because the barawo will still visit the house again after a carpenter must have replaced the broken ceiling. But a welder will construct a protector in the ceiling the way most 9ja shops do in Port Harcourt.

The only ways I can think of to patch that would surely cost more than simply replacing that thing.

This is asbestos ceiling, look for a carpenter that will buy a new one to fix for you

Just replace that slice of asbestos.

Or if you are not too particular about finesse, you can get a carpenter to cut plywood of exactly that size and fit it for you
