@OP.

Issue with Davido is that he feels he must defend his Uncle and family blindly. Fair enough.

Yet he will learn being a music superstar is nothing when you delve into Nigerian politics without the loyalists and backing to traverse and conquer the system.

If you want to immerse yourself aggressively in Nigerian political affairs, as Davido is trying to do, you must be well-supported by power brokers, politically intelligent and well-respected.

I can't call Osun guber election as I don't know local dynamics of the State that well but broad info I have analyzed makes me believe Adeleke will lose.

Davido should be careful. He isn't intelligent or savvy enough for this confrontational noisemaking he is engaging in. He should concentrate on music.
Honestly. You are right.

Davido’s instinct to defend his family is understandable, but celebrity power should not be confused with political power.

Music gives him a massive audience; politics requires something else entirely—judgment, restraint, local knowledge, message discipline, strong political networks and the ability to survive sustained scrutiny.

That is why he should be careful about becoming personally involved in every political exchange surrounding his uncle. The more he descends into daily partisan combat, the more he risks trading the broad goodwill he has built across parties, regions and demographics for battles that campaign professionals are better equipped to fight.

Supporting his uncle is one thing.

Becoming a full-time political combatant is another.

Davido’s greatest strength is that millions of Nigerians who disagree politically still admire him. That is an asset worth protecting.
