You see why I said you people are not rati0nal and l0gical thinking folks.

That's why the other guy ran away, I asked him a question, and I will ask you the same question, the indigenous people of Abuja are in millions.

Who are their law makers?

Who represents them as governor ?

Who chooses them ?

Secondly, you don't need to vote for Tinubu before supporting him, when you fight for him online, you are throwing support already...

So you want to tell me you sincerely thought that Tinubu was coming to do something good for Nigeria?

If truly you were seeing him as someone coming to do good for Nigeria, sincerely speaking I see you as a dmb fellow( sorry to say), because it was glaring he never had any good intention for Nigeria and he was even vocal about it in words and action...

Except you were just acting to be dmb...
Bro sit this out, you're sounding really funny, the framer of the Constitution are not fools, if Abuja is accorded special status, any sitting president can just rig abuja and don't care about the result from the remaining states because only that one Will force a rerun, Abuja is not the only state capital in the world, no state capital has such electoral special status that you're asking for.

Then you did not even understand my point in the first place, go back and read it, this time slowly, if you miss it again then you will keep going back to read it till you understand, where in my article did I ever say that if someone wins Abuja then there ,must be a rerun?

If you are referring to me, I didn't run away.

There is only so much time I can give to interacting with Obidients who don't have any interest in logical thinking or reasoning.

You pull things out of thin air and expect people to engage in debate with you but at no time do you shift your position even when you can clearly see your ridiculous stance being comprehensively dismantled.

Bondriv said he doesn't support President Tinubu and without any proof, you double down on (false) claims that they did.

Only you one sabi wetin constitution drafting committee nor put for constitution.
Are you for real? grin

Why I don't take you people's comments seriously is because you people hate the truth, just look at Bonriv's comments about Tinubu as at January of this year and look at his comments about Tinubu in August grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

The truth will always prevail, so you guys can keep supporting lies, deceit and nonsense, the truth will still prevail...

You're the slow one here bro, what you people are asking for is going to be catastrophic, if Tinubu rigs Abuja election and get 80 percent by using all the instruments of state with him while Peter Obi wins every other states in Nigeria do you know that will automatically trigger a rerun per what you're asking for?

No, it will not, that is not what i said, do you people have problem with reading?

I said you have to at least score 25% in the FCT and meet the other requirements round the 36 states?

I never said you have to win FCT in any way, do you people have a problem with English, why do you people reason like this?

This thing is basic logic, meet the other requirements round the 36 states, score the highest votes, then at least have 25% of the votes in FCT, nobody said win FCT, 25% votes in FCT means there is 75% votes for others to share in the same FCT, you don't need to win the FCT...

in the case of the 2023 election where Tinubu scored the highest and did not meet the 25% minimum for FCT, there should have been a rerun, with him and the second highest person who met same requirement with him round the 36 states and scored at least 25 percent in the FCT.

That way, no how there will be a winner who will score the highest, meet all the requirements in the 36 states and still score at least 25 percent in the FCT because it will be only 2 candidates sharing the 100% votes in the FCT.

So a clear winner must emerge...

I am waiting for your response, so I will clear you better why this was what the supreme court was supposed to declare, you people hate history, so I will lecture you better...

Bro you're being overly emotional and you're embarrassing yourself on a public forum, neither Obi nor Atiku had 25 percent in 2/3 states of the federal republic of Nigeria like you're saying here, so how does that make sense? The rerun should be between who and who?

My statement stands, Abuja has no special status, and what you're asking for is catastrophic.

People who are so emotional and temperamental like you should not talk about logic at all because you have no ability to be logical...

Now here is logic.

If Tinubu hold Abuja with all the instrument of state and get 80 percent which means nobody else could get up to 25 percent mathematically but Obi wins the popular votes and also has 25 percent in 2/3 states minus Abuja, let's assume that Atiku wins also 25 percent in 2/3 states but didn't have the popular vote, neither wins 25 percent in Abuja because the incumbent president has locked down Abuja with the instrument of state, what would you recommend? The rerun election should be between who and who?

You're ignorantly trying to trigger a constitutional crisis bro, calm down and reason..

Ps. I'm up for a debate on this issue no matter how longs it takes for you to become logical.

I was basing my argument on the data presented by Peter Obi and states he met the requirement and won which was overturned by the same supreme court including that of Rivers state which was very glaring to all, that is why I still fault the supreme court on their judgment...

Now you are using illegality of rigging FCT as a whole to point a scenario you want o paint a picture for, but the law does not work that way...

So if the president can lock down Abuja, what is stopping him from locking down the 36 states for himself?

Let's all enter assumption mode, so I am asking you in return, if the president locks down the 36 states for himself with the instrument of federal might, what should other candidates do?

This is the most stupid thing you will read on Nairaland this year, the supreme court of Nigeria should base their argument on data provided by you and Peter Obi as against Inec?

You know you lost this debate already and there is no way in this world that the supreme court will base their judgment on a ficticious data provided by Peter Obi that was never proven in the tribunal.

Thank God the framer of the Constitution are not as emotional as you are.

Logically it's much more easier for the president to lock down one state as opposed to 36 states and when it comes to a do or die affairs scenario that you're painting, trust me someone will have the gut to do it.

So also all the instruments of states are mostly centralised and headquartered in Abuja which makes Abuja the easiest state to lock down in a do or die scenario.

In this scenario painted by you, the sitting president only has to lock down Abuja as against trying to rig in multiple states which is much more harder, can you think at all?

The fact is that in a do or die affair, any Nigerian president who has the got will lock down Abuja because that's all they need, but the framer of the Constitution are not that stupid to provide that lacuna.

The reason why I based my facts more on Peter Obi's data is, if INEC could accept and use the data provided by itself for Rivers state, even when it was glaring that it was a falsified data and the judiciary accepted it, even with the error still hanging there till date in both i-rev and the physical data they presented.

How then do you want any reasonable human beings to believe the data INEC presented for other states is more accurate than that of OBI?

The picture you posted did not contradict my position. I didn't have to support the president to make those political analyses. That is the problem with people like you who are driven by emotion. 😂 The guy is beyond redemption. The fact that his argument is based on Obi's data ends this whole debate. I told him earlier that he was using words he didn't understand.

25% in the FCT is not a mandatory requirement to become President. A candidate mustn't get that to win. His whole argument was hinged on that with his Peter Obi data. The Constitution requires the highest votes, in addition to 1/4 in at least 2/3 of the States in the Federation and the FCT.

By virtue of S.299 of the constitution, the FCT is treated as a State for this purpose. To insist otherwise would lead to the absurdity that a candidate like Tinubu who had: highest votes and 25% in 29 States would have lost the election. No way that was intended by the framers of the constitution.

Every single poster here has easily destroyed Brendaniel and his BS argument, yet like a typical Obidient, he won't relent, ploughing on relentlessly without any introspection.

Even his fellow Obidients have left him on his own to suffer the shame alone yet in his mind, he is making sense.

Peter Obi didn't do enough to earn a rerun or whatever, he came third and lost fair and square.

Somebody please make his white noise stop!

Truth? Truth is subjective bro, only fact works in the court of law because your truth might be different from my truth, the fact is that you lost the argument and you should humble yourself, you're too emotional yet very shallow, all your arguments was based on subjective truth and ficticious data from Obi which cannot stand the scrutiny in the court of law, also be advised that Abuja has no special electoral status, if that happens it is going to be very catastrophic.

Don't worry yourself, I already wrote it from the first comment on this topic, that I am only doing this for the sake of posterity, not for anyone to believe or agree with me.

Just mainly for record purpose and for the fact that I spoke the truth, I did it during the election for all those supporting Tinubu, I told them they don't need to believe me but time will reveal every thing I told them...

Some actually came back to apologize to me here on Nairaland, I told them the deed has been done already but I played my part by telling them truth and warning them...

No problem. We can all try to keep things civil and respectful, even as we state our opinions.
