@All,
Such a wicked, wicked people: this is the handiwork of Hizbollah with support from Syria/Iran with the hope of bringing down a democraticaly elected government in Lebanon and then establish an Islamic state in a secular country. They intend to surrond Israel on all sides by hostile islamic nations possibly in preparation to 'wiping it off the map' and further continue their spread of doctrine of hate.

This is another clear indication that you don't dash people democracy - such like Bush promised to do in middle east.

Please who r dese ur politically correct folks who make such a glaring faux pas? The question you shd ask urself is who in the scheme of everuthing in lebanon has more to gain if it is embroiled in instability? The answer is glaring, SYRIA % IRAN,

Methinks that it is too simplistic to assume that this would have been done by Syria or Iran. There are other nations such as Israel who stand to gain knowing that every accusing finger will point towards Tehran.

Let's not get too carried away without thinking deeply.

No one seems to know exactly who did this but it seems all too convenient for those who have powerful media influence to point accusing fingers towards Syria and Iran. If we ever get to know who did this, some of us might be suprised

@Easy,
Nothing is as simplistic as the power of consistency: Pierre Gamayel happens to be the fourth anti-Syria Lebanese politician to have been killed in the last 2 years. These deaths occured among at least 10 attempts on the lives of anti-Syrian lebanese politicians. Remember, a United Nations independent investigation panel found Syrian government officials culpable and involved in the death of Rafik Hariri, the former Lebanes prime minister who is also anti-Syria.I hope you dont think it is Israel that influence the panel again.

The question you shd ask urself my brother is this, who stands to gain from a disstabilised Lebanon? who has been trying to gain prominence in the past 6-7 years in middle-eastern country affairs? who has had a history of instigating such violence on neighbouring countries?

The answers keep churning out the same culprits each time, IRAN AND SYRIA,

It is nt simplistic when u note that iran is actually funding a particular ethnic group in iraq to forment trouble neither is it simplistic that a former cabinet minister in lebanon was assasinated sometime last year by syria because of his criticism of syrias overbearing influence.
