Very salients points u just touched here. I have actually been visiting the study centre here in Port Harcourt where I base and done a lot of enquiring. What u said are very much in line with what I have been told too.

I still have one issue- a personal one, though: Your course CommTech, when I scanned through the course content, it seems to me that there is a lot of Maths involved. Is that the case?

I'm actually torn between that course and Entrepreneurship/Small Biz Mgt.[/quote]

Hi Enskynelson and everyone. I received provisional admission to study PGD in IT. The admission letter says to go for physical clearance with a list of items including “Evidence of NYSC participation (ID card), completion, exemption, or exclusion”.
My issue is that I don’t have this because I’m waiting for the NYSC portal to open so I can register.

Will I be allowed to go for clearance without this proof of NYSC? Or do I have to register for NYSC before I can go for clearance? Thanks in advance.

My university has already sent my transcript to NOUN by email.

Proceed to your selected study centre. Before now, that has never been compulsory. Kindly explain if they request for it. Just go with evidence of application for the transcripts.

After requesting for my transcript, I just discovered I was given pass on all my courses and failed me in two. Please what can I do to correct this?

Are you saying it is not correct?
Note that pass include A,B,C,D or E (for UG students) or A,B,C (for PG students). Fail are the courses you had a carryover.
The transcripts that contains your actual grade is no sent directly to student but to schools. That is how NOUN operates. That one contains all your grades (A,B,C,D,E,F) as the case may be.

Good morning sir. I check the support site now and I'm seeing an elective there. I already did another elective for that particular semester, so I don't understand why I'm seeing the second elective in my outstanding courses

Good afternoon Enskynelson. I registered for Bio192 and PHY192 practicals last semester, but i didn't write the practical because of the restriction that was placed via the portal for first time course registration, can i still write the practical again this semester or i have to pay again?
Note: Practicals is starting on the 17th of this month.
Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by bastien: 3:17pm On Aug 11
Enskynelson:
It depends on the exams you missed. If they were mostly electives, you can still graduate without writing them.
Meanwhie, check your matriculation number on the CONVOCATION area of the portal to be double sure you have graduated. Congratulations.
how can I check the convocation area

Have u heard of WAEC digital certificate before? You can use that. Go to the website and create account. You can use your surname and Date of birth with your exam centre and year of exam to search for your result.
