stop complaining just install 3 cylinders of CNG in your booth, and you are good to go at whatever price! grin

MoonlightDrive:
Honestly indrive is to blame, they exploited the poverty amongst drivers as a powerful weapon, to force passenger to quote ridiculous prices. Let me give you an example, i accepted a request on their so called oneclick for N9,100, i got zero response, only for the same passenger to now reduce his offer on oneclick to N8,000. Why would indrive allow such nonsense, if you use oneclick your price offer should only go higher not lower. The sad thing is that Bolt out of desperation have also now lowered their pricing standard. Eventually as all the local refineries were killed due to low pricing of fuel, which lead to inability for proper refinery maintenance, we are seeing increasing number of poorly maintained vehicles being used for Ehailing.
I would blame Bolt, not indrive.
Bolt caused the situation we are being faced with today.
I said it back then, it still stands the same.

Much respect, baba.

Bro I use cng and I can tell you I'm highly selective. Highly. Do you know some days I don't bother working cause if bad prices. Mostly I target 3 - 5 trips to gross 45k -50k.

Low self esteem causes theses things bro. As a man thinks so he values or rates himself

And this is irrespective of weather you use cng or fuel. That's y even wen u see most of these drivers and their cars that rubbish this work you can understand

Is there any retrofitted CNG motor used commercially that is 3 years post conversion?
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Latonal1: 9:39am On Aug 12
You people in Nigeria use after market CNG kits and poor wiring. Nigerians looks for one guy that knows how to fix CNG fair or affordable price in one corner you people will never go to a certified company to get it installed. Using CNG in car that was not installed directly from the vehicle manufacturer is a scam

Example check all this latest buses that comes directly with CNG installed copied neatly and it will work perfectly while all this installed privately is a total mess crazy wiring.

Before you install CNG, try to check how is install on like dangote trucks and or vehicles directly from China no be all this after market connection

So many people install CNG when fall price was around 500naira per litre are planning to unkit when fuel in almost 1300 tell me have dey deeply tell you why

In Abuja here, drivers are just accepting any rides without increasing it.
Yesterday, I went back home without taking any ride because all rides I saw was just around 250/KM.
I accepted like two with fastest finger but cancelled it after I looked at the map very well
So so low.

My advice is for now, no one should take this as a full time job.
It's really frustrating.
I only focus on weekends and set over 400/KM for myself

Even 400naira/km if you focus on that price and you at the end of a whole if you are using petrol if you see 15000naira may be few people gave you tips your price per km is determined how close you are to the passenger and also the distance he or she is going to

If you see a ride 400naira/km and the person is 2mins pick up it is a bad price but if you see a ride and it is 500naira/km and you see 10mins pick up it is better than the 400/km own

Before I pick a ride I make sure I have Idea of if the pickup road and drop-off is okay because passenger don't care about your car just drop them in dere location and they pay you.

Lastly let us try to call passengers immediately before going to pick up location like where are they and where are they going to because map sometimes is crazy, ask if they are carrying anything make you no drive down see say they are carrying crates of eggs, bag of rice, freezer, tv, wardrobe. Passengers are crazy sometimes dey don't have anything to lose na you go waste your time and fuel

If any passenger after pickup claims he/she forgot to tell you that they want you to wait for them to get something on the road charge them depending on how long they will wait no dey believe all this oga I go settle you no worry at the end of the driver they will hard 1k or 2k and you wasted your time for minutes

I don't need to answer your question 'how many people do I know ' they are disadvantages to this thing called CNG you know, to learn more Google is your friend and YouTube is your friend to watch and see peoples feedback about it positive and negatives

If newbies want to start e hailing now they will tell the person it is profitable they will never tell you how it is profitable days of the week, challenges, risk na you go find out yourself if you can keep up or leave it for strong men.

Just this month alone na 2 people I heard doing e hailing they hijack dere cars not to talk of someone missing with their cars on the job due to they want to make maximum profit and all this people wey dey net over 40k daily 😂😂 dere car no dey good they will never show what dey go through with mechanic or how d condition of dere car is and is this same people passenger will lost or forget an item in their car still steal it or refuse to return tell me if profit plenty will any driver steal something

Am sure a lot of people saw full grown men entering deep water on the Island just to pick up 20k ride at the end of it they car got flooded na does people dey look for 50k profit daily

I blame the government, I blame the apps that allows passengers to reduce the recommended price they choose lastly I blame the stupid so called people using CNG accepting those prices because passenger believes someone will accept my price soon they will rather wait than rush

I have never picked ride below 600naira/km before if na 2 to 4 trip I see I dey house be that if na 20k I see as net I dey house be that driving cars for long hours causes a lot of mechanical issues, overheating, engine self done too hot. I know so many drivers this year way no drive again always having issues with the car

Alot of people don't know or understand what is called a vehicle so far it is still starting we move that is why Nigerian fear to buy Nigeria use car and prefer tokunbo na so so water person go wake up for morning they put inside radiator still pack few water inside booth in case anything happens for road to buy coolant within 10k to 20k na war they are making a lot of money

I know a person doing Uber for over it 8years advising people on it presently he is looking for a car if 2-3m Nigeria use where are all the alot of money inside it he is still looking unkept Uber is side hustle nothing more

Am a construction engineer if you need my service let me know I do drive weekends when am not on clients projects just to survive

I usually accept the amount and tell them it's 18k last

If they accept fine, if not, they can cancel.
