If Adeleke failed to support Tinubu unless he decamped to another Party he would most likely support Accord Presidential Candidate because of the house of reps election that will hold the same day.

APC will still get at least 500k votes in Osun state presidential election even if they eventually lose it to Accord presidential candidate. We all know Accord wouldn't pass Osun state even if they win it , Peter Obi and Atiku also have no chance other than getting consolation votes so at the end it will still favour Tinubu.

Same scenario is going to play out in Oyo state even if Tinubu lose the presidential election to Makinde he will still beat Atiku and Obi, people keep forgetting the fact that APC got a lot of votes in Osun election, they think all those votes will disappear overnight when it will be difficult for Atiku ADC and Obi NDC to churn out half of those votes lol.

Tinubu have already done his homework and all the scenarios favour Tinubu if you guys think about it instead of these high emotions. Accord presidential candidate wouldn't pass Osun even if Adeleke delivered him and Makinde wouldn't pass Oyo, people have forgotten that the race is between APC, ADC and NDC.

The biggest advantage Tinubu currently has is opposition fragmentation. In 2023, Tinubu won with 8.79 million votes, while Atiku, Obi and Kwankwaso together received about 14.58 million. The three opposition candidates also collectively won more states than Tinubu. If Atiku, Peter Obi and Kwankwaso all remain separate, Tinubu has a very strong structural advantage. He also has incumbency. As of today, Tinubu should be considered the favourite for 2027, but not an inevitable winner. The clearest route for the opposition to seriously threaten him is a credible Atiku,Obi, Kwankwaso consolidation around one presidential candidate.

I agree with you. Adeleke has no reason to work against Tinubu now. All gladiators in osun have been demystified. Tinubu will also lose Kwara too the same way it happened in osun.

ADELEKE, DON’T MAKE THE MIMIKO MISTAKE

Adeleke should take a lesson from Olusegun Mimiko’s political miscalculation in Ondo.

Mimiko built the Labour Party into a formidable political force in the hearts and minds of Ondo people, only to decamp to the PDP. That move ultimately diminished his political influence.

Now, after painstakingly entrenching the Accord Party in the hearts and minds of Osun people, will Adeleke repeat Mimiko’s mistake by jumping ship to the APC?

With Nigerian politicians, political loyalty can be as predictable as the weather. You can never be too sure. Time will tell.

No no no.

What diminished Mimiko were a different set of factors.

However to respond to the most immediate conflation you've made, Mimiko would have been successful if Jonathan won the 2015 elections...

Had that happened, Mimiko and PDP would have easily swept Jegede into power in 2017. Aso Rock personally stopped the Supreme Court from announcing PDP as winner of the 2021 elections as the APC Chairman who signed Aketi's form was not in line with the law. He was a sitting Governor and had the constitution been correctly interpreted at the Supreme Court, Jegede who had the second highest number of votes if APC and her candidate (AKETI) votes were disqualified, would instantly have beehive Governor.

It happened in Bayelsaa and Zamfara in the past.

Against his best effort, Tinubu was demystified and disgraced in his home state Osun. But this is the default setting and there's no coming back from it.

This is pure agbado political analysis. The modern day Nigeria we are struggling to build goes beyond tribal and ethnic sentiments. For decades we have been tribal and religious in everything. Where has that taken us other than poverty and a very wretched society that politicians seek to manipulate us.

We are joining hands to change the narratives. We want a candidate with track record of honesty and integrity. Your Tinubu has not shown competence and dependability in the last 3 years. We are looking elsewhere and if anyone after Tinubu is kicked out, fails to deliver on promises to Nigerians, we will unite again to boot him out. We want an era where our votes speak directly to politicians.

With all your guess work. Even though Osun and Oyo are in South West, you are still not sure if Tinubu will win those States. As for the North, Tinubu won't see 5k votes. Na Atiku we dey vote.

This is true nearly done not kill a bird. Tunubu should have actually killed the bird the way Ebele Jonathan rigged for Fayose with Sgt Roger or how Obasanjo rigged for Yardua that even Yardua and to confess.

You shoukd clap for yourself too.
