Just saw and heard this on AIT now. After a long winding speech, Obasanjo ended with the famous words "Therefore, by virtue of Section 305 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I hereby declare a State of Emergency in Ekiti State. This declaration has been published in a Federal Gazette as of today. " The state of emergency will last till May 29 when the swearings-in will be done. Brig Gen Tunji Olurin (rtd) is appointed once again as the administrator. Which way Ekiti? Which way Nigeria  |
