There you go again. Political skill or dictatorship? Governors running to APC because of Tinubu's political skills? If you need someone in Abuja to win elections in Abia state, then the man in Abuja is a monocrat (subtle word for a dictator). Is democracy no longer a government for the people and by the people? What strategies will Tinubu execute to get Abians to vote for their governor that ran to APC? Did you not know about the largesse for defection? I think say na rumour. I don't think you are getting it, you are just being sentiment. Tinubu has demonstrated a political instinct that GEJ and even PMB simply didn't possess. Jonathan could win elections, but he was nowhere near as effective at building, maintaining and expanding a political machine. Tinubu understands political interests at a very granular level like, who wants what, who can be brought in, who needs what, who can be neutralised, and when to make irresistible offers, this is what politics is.

Tinubu went from being one of the major opposition figures to becoming the man at the centre of a political structure that has absorbed a huge portion of the opposition. You don't accomplish that merely by sitting in Abuja and waving money around like GEJ did.

In politics you need relationships, negotiation, timing, intelligence about political interests and the ability to make people believe their future is safer with you than against you, this is what Tinubu have in abundance. You must give him credits for that. I don't like him as a man doesn't translate to me hating or failing to learn anything from him.
