Singer Davido fires back at Lagos lawmaker after Osun election exchange, urging him to “get a job.”

(iexclusivenews)—Afrobeats star Davido has responded to House of Representatives member James Faleke with a sharp message.

“POLITICS is NOT A CAREER. Get a JOB!!!” he posted on X.

The reply continues their public exchange over the Osun State governorship election.

Faleke had earlier denied Davido’s accusation that he pressured the Independent National Electoral Commission to alter results.

In his response, the Ikeja lawmaker said he only went to Osun to support the APC candidate and told Davido to “face your music while we face our politics.”

Davido quoted that post and delivered the new jab on Sunday. The message quickly gained thousands of likes and shares.

This guy is such a child, I use to really like him until his tantrum throwing episode. Faleke is old enough to be his uncle if not older, so why the back and forth like a child who just lost his biscuit.

If you remove looted politics money from the mouths of Wike, Faleke, Gbaja and co. They will drop dead the next day.

I wonder if they have any proper skills and business that can help them survive one year outside the sphere of politics. Political leeches without any form of second addresses or proper skills to make money outside politics..

Look at Peter Obi, he left governance more than 10 years ago, yet he is still relevant, making donations here and there. Let Wike and Faleke stay one month outside politics and see if they can survive it.

My problem now is if See Finish happens on Davido, that will be a big issue on his carrier.

Brother, let’s face the facts, is politics really a career?
Let’s start from counselorship position, what does it cost you to become a counselor? You do will in our community, you get into politics, you campaign, your community votes for you, you become a counselor. You use government allocation given to you LGA to develop your community. How’s this a career, do you really need to go to school, bag a PHd to know how to do go in your community n manage resources entrusted to you?

Seeing politics as a career especially in the our part of the world (AFRICA) has proven why we are so evil today, backward n called 3 world country. Politics is smiling servicing your nation with ur nation resources so you too can thrive in it 📌

My interest is not to advocate for anyone, the point is we have career politicians even abroad who spent all their adult life in politics.
