If you are living around the coast line, beach, river or any water body, it's better you start considering evacuating

With the rate of earthquakes around the globe, global Tsunami is inevitable .

Indiana in USA is mostly under water currently and that's just a tip of the iceberg

Attached photos is Abuja over the weekend

Mods should move this to the appropriate section

The thread below wasn't a conspiracy eventually

Oh really

River Niger bridge at Lokoja will soon overflow then....

I hate that experience, God should provide me a copter as I travel a lot

Nigeria is not under any threat of a coastal tsunami because there are no active fault lines in the tropical and southern Atlantic that will generate a tsunami wave.

The greatest threat was one of the archipelago islands of the Azores collapsing into the sea following a major earthquake eruption 6ys ago. But the caldera did not fully explode. The volcano is still active tho and would have been a major cause for alarm ax it would have displaced sea waters up to a height of 6 meters.

The flooding in Abuja is just from torrential rainfall which is expected at this time of the year.

The tsunamis triggered by almost weekly earthquakes, where do you think the water will go?

The oceans are very large .

They cover 2/3rd surface of the earth.

Tsunamis are generated by underwater earthquake when one plate rises above the other and displaced significant volume of water to the sea surface.

The wave then begin to move outward in all directions and as they approach coastal areas the wave increases.

For us to get a tsunami wave , there must be an underwater earthquake over the Atlantic ocean.

There's no active fault lines in the Atlantic waters bordering us.

Also, land based earthquakes don't generate Tsunamis .

To start with, I didn't say we are going to experience tsunami in Nigeria but flooding.

The tsunamis across the globe will as well flood the globe

I pray for the flood that will wash APC out of political power

From my days as a geography student to watching NatGeo wild and Discovery channel documentaries on earthquakes did I know dat most parts of Africa especially those on the Coast, can never experience a tsunami or earthquakes cos there are no active volcanic plates in those areas.

Torrential rainfall can cause flooding anywhere in d world but Earthquakes occurance are very rear in Africa especially Nigeria

Continue building roads without doing an environmental impact assessment because you are in power. We are presently seeing a flood unlike any before in Lagos and Abuja simply because the 2 demi-gods believe they are above the law. They have been asked for the environmental impact assessment a couple of times by the press; they keep waving it off. This one here is writing trash because he doesn't want to face the reality on the ground.
