If there is a way you can manage, I will say you should wait it out till around 7 weeks or so. I remember I had sharp burning sensation while urinating at the early stage of this pregnancy. It burns if I delay toilet visit but all disappeared later.

Your doctor knows best tho but just I try as much as possible in pregnancy especially early stage. It's a critical stage

Hello mama…. For the cramp, please work closely with your doctor. It’s sometimes like that and sometimes may need intervention.

For your medication, folic acid is the most important for now. You may want to add ferrous, if you like. You can never go wrong with folic acid especially now that the spine and Brain are forming.

However, There are other medications that combines all other individual drugs and vitamins too for pregnant women but run it through your doctor so the check if the folic acid content is adequate.

This group was such a huge part of my first pregnancy journey. The things I learned and the support I got from pregnancy all the way until I had my baby girl in 2017. She’s 9 years old now by the way

I had another pregnancy in 2022, but sadly, I lost my baby at a little over 5 months in March 2023. It was a really difficult experience, especially because that pregnancy came with quite a lot of complications, and unfortunately, I also experienced some negligence from the hospital I was using from the very early weeks until I lost the pregnancy.

Now, here I am again. I tested positive last week, and I’m honestly excited, grateful, but also very scared. I haven’t confirmed exactly how far gone I am yet because my periods have been irregular over the past two months, but as soon as I get that confirmed, I’ll definitely update the group.

I’m really hoping and praying that this time, I get to see the journey all the way to the end and bring home a healthy baby.

I’d also love to ask the experienced mamas here: when is the appropriate time to start antenatal care? Given my previous experience and the complications I had, I honestly don’t want to take any risks this time. I’m quite anxious and would really appreciate advice on when I should begin and anything I should be doing from these very early weeks.

Most hospitals start antenatal from 12 weeks but you can start or continue your routine drugs for now. That is really the main thing to be doing this time.

I got the routine drugs today.

Doctors in the house please help out lately have been unable to sleep, having mild headache, body weakness and have went to hospital they gave me drugs but I don't see the effects of those drugs especially the sleeping area. This morning I hardly sleep one hour each time I close my eye and try to sleep it will be as if my lead is vibrating, my heart beating faster and my chest and throat area contracting pls it's affecting me what can I do please

Please who has experienced missed period with very faint urine PT make una torchlight this matter for me biko
I have never missed my period for years, very clockwork 27 days cycle.

This cycle I tested and has a faint positive on 13dpo, with mild pelvic cramps on and off. Serum PT was negative.

I'm already 5 weeks but all of a sudden all pregnancy symptoms disappeard overnight.
Nausea, fuller boobs, frequent urination, mild cramps and back ache all gone!

I did a Beta HCG test earlier and my result came out at 20.17 IU/L at 4 weeks 3 days.
Any hopes for me please? Ideal numbers for 3-4 weeks gestation is 500 and above. Non pregnant individuals is less than 5 iu/l

Kindly share your experiences with me.

Are you hypertensive?
I suggest you get a second and 3rd opinion from another Dr if possible so you're properly evaluated.
I hope you feel better soon.

Welcome onboard. Afflication will not arise a second time.
I wish you a smooth ride and successful delivery in due time.
I suggest you register early and be properly monitored from day one going by your last experience. It doesn't hurt to be safe.
