Faleke and Okpebholo are from Chicago where they came out as first class criminals. Youths like Verydarkman and Davido should also consider running for senate if we really want change. If Burna Boy can sponsor Vdm, he will overpower all those big politicians. |

anonimi:Politics being a career also means politicians depend on it for daily bread. That should disgust you if you have some dignity |

He has a job. So your uncle who was just reelected as governor doesn't have a job? Politics is a career. It is called public service. |

Saao:At least two of his uncles has been in politics for more than years Faleke joined politics and he never advised them to quit and get a job. It's better for Davido to stay out of Nigeria politics because these politicians are same same! Tomorrow he will see those one he is abusing senselessly together with his uncle laughing and making jest of each other. |

expert234:Why should politicians not be paid for their work in using our resources to make government services and public utilities available for everyone? Do you show your dignity by failing to pay for work done? Cc: Megawatch ElevationD Scholarforlife Isio1 |

anonimi:An average Nigerian politician doesn't just get paid for the work done while in office. Rather, he loots the national treasury in the name of getting paid. In the civil service, the most senior officer is on grade level 17 and the pay is fixed. Let the Nigerian constitution be amended to use this payment system for all political office holders and let's see how many of these career politicians will still parade themselves as one. |

anonimi:If you are a career politician, what happens when you leave office?! Did you ask your brraiin that question before making this thouughtless comment? |
| Re: ‘Politics Not A Career, Get A Job’ — Davido Hits Back At Faleke by anonimi: 8:27pm On Aug 17 |
expert234:When a politician loses an election and leaves office, he continues to work on getting people to believe in his policies and governing principles until he is reelected. |
| Re: ‘Politics Not A Career, Get A Job’ — Davido Hits Back At Faleke by expert234: 8:34pm On Aug 17 |
anonimi:So what does he eat while he is not in power?! Your grasp of my simple question is disturbingly shallow. No wonder you see politics as a career! |
| Re: ‘Politics Not A Career, Get A Job’ — Davido Hits Back At Faleke by anonimi: 8:45pm On Aug 17 |

expert234:He is correct. I don't know why you are still arguing with him. Politics can be a career and a job. For example, what is Wike's career and job? He studied law in school, but is that how he earns a living? Does Wike practice law? He has devoted himself to politics and rose through the ranks. It is not unique to Nigeria. In the U.S., you have people like Mitch McConnell, Nancy Pelosi etc. who chose politics as a career. Take a state for example, which job in a state is more important than that of a governor? I am of the view that more people should devote themselves to politics, instead of just crashing into it. Perhaps this country might be better for it. You asked what happens when a person loses that job. Same like any other job, you look for another. For a politician, it can mean contesting for another election, getting another appointment, etc. That you are unable to get a job immediately, doesn't change the fact that you had a career or job previously. Also people can switch careers and jobs. That someone is a politician doesn't mean the person can't decide to retire and do something else like every other profession. The fact is that Davido spoke from a place of ignorance. If that Senator has devoted his life to politics then it is his career. It is also his job. He gets paid every month for it. |

BondRiv:So because wike eats from politics now make it a norm?! Of all examples in the world, you use wike, a political jobber, as your example! What a shame! So, what happens to other politicians that didn't become minister after leaving office? So, what happens to wike after he leaves office as minister? What if another political party takes over?! What happens to the career politician?! Are you thinking at all?! |
| Re: ‘Politics Not A Career, Get A Job’ — Davido Hits Back At Faleke by BondRiv: 10:03pm On Aug 17 |
expert234:Emotional fellow. So you still didn't grasp anything from my comment? Your issue now is that Wike was used as an example. Is he the only career politician in Nigeria? What about the U.S. examples? I can also see that you are asking questions that I have already answered. In fact, those questions have been answered by others in this thread too. So whenever you are done being emotional, come back here and comprehend. Some of you belong in the romance section. |
