⚡USS Benfold, a guided-missile destroyer, lost all power for four days in the South China Sea after a generator failure on July 24.

The crew of roughly 300 had no working toilets, air conditioning, kitchen, or water systems in extreme heat.

The ship drifted powerless until tugboats towed it to Subic Bay, Philippines, where power was restored six days later.

Another warship in the carrier group had to provide cooked meals.

It's the second US destroyer to suffer a power failure in the Indo-Pacific this year.

⚡A family member of a sailor aboard the USS Carl Vinson says that the aircraft carrier does not have warm water to shower and the water fountains have been turned off.

[quote author=WriteerNg post=140365505]⚡Trump blasts South Korea:

I called the president of South Korea. I said, “Would you help with Iran? If you would like, we don’t need help.” He said, “No thanks.”

I said, “What do you mean? We have 39,000 soldiers over there guarding you from Kim Jong Un, and you are not going to help us with Iran? That’s strange.”

Then why are we involved with helping you? Protecting South Korea is costing us billions of dollars.

guy is just looking for excuses to move defense systems from South Korea to the Middle East 😂😂

SUPER INTERESTING:

Apparently, an Iranian Pilot flew an F-4E into Saudi Arabia to carry out a MISSION.
The Pilot BYPASSED radars and Patriot Missiles.
And carried out his mission SUCCESSFULLY.

But that's NOT even the interesting part.

The INTERESTING part is that the US Airforce scrambled a F-16CJ to CONFRONT the Pilot.

And the American Pilot in the F-16CJ FAILED to shoot down the Iranian Pilot in a 50-year OLD plane.
A plane that America REFUSED to help them maintain.

An Iranian Pilot in a 50-year OLD, JANKY plane BYPASSED American Radars.
Then BYPASSED American Patriot Batteries.
BOMBED what he was there to bomb.
Then BYPASSED an American Pilot in an F-16CJ.
Before landing SAFELY back in Iran.

The Iranians are SOMETHING ELSE.
grin

The Iranian Military are too COMPETENT.
It's their politicians that keep FORKING UP.

Like the MOOMOO Qhalibaf comparing the INCREDIBLE FEATS of the Military to a DEAD MOU that didn't last up to 3 weeks.

By the way If Iran can do something like that with a 50-year OLD F-4, imagine the SORCERY they would channel with SU-35s.

grin

Appleyard:
It will not happen.

Nukes will kill too many people and the repercussions would be too colossal even for the United States not to mention the state of Israel.

A lot of people don't really realize how vulnerable the US is today. This is not 1945.

Nuking Iran today simply because they were defeated on the battlefield would instantly shatter the non nuclear proliferation architecture. In less than seven days, every hardline standing states and Muslim nations will start getting nukes.

The thousands of US soldiers and their bases spread across the globe will have to start leaving because, the protests would be massively massive and terrible, even from home---it would mark the beginning of the unravelling of the US as a state. Endless protests will tear through US cities and the chaos that would morph out of that would instantly bring the current US government to an end. And this is only IF top US military officers like General Caine approves the senseless plan.

The fact that some people really takes the military top brass as rubber stamp, you-must-obey-the-order bunch is appalling. The current crop of the US top military brass would rather have the president and his demonic messainic team assassinated than to drag the States into a senseless nuclear war in which the enemy did not initiate the attack. You only need to think about Miley during Trump's first presidency and now Caine in his second coming. Trump, Hegseth, Rubio, and Witkoff would be long dead before any nuclear bomb can reach Tehran.

Let's not even talk about the economic fallout, the radiation reverberations and the consequences for Israel and Europe...then you have the potential response from China, Russia, Pak, and NK. Well....they would truly get their Messiah back---death from multiple angles.
I know and agree that America nuking Iran is very unlikely to happen. But the fact that the US is discussing it in meetings means the possibility of it happening is no longer zero. It's the smaller tactical nukes they're considering. A 0.3 ton type explosion is equivalent to the 2020 Beirut bombing. It is something they can pull off and detonate somewhere underground in Iran.

And we shouldn’t sleep on Israel. It is something they can do, and will do in an act of desperation. Colonial-settler states are always brutal and don’t lie low without a fight.

The only reason things haven't gone out of hand is because Iran is still being rational. If Iran becomes irrational and begins targeted assassinations and blowing up anything and everything as Israel does, tactical nukes will be on the table.

And at some point, if Iran keeps hitting Israel over and over, Israel will use it, especially since it knows Iran has nothing of similar destructive power to respond with. No nukes. No biological weapons. No chemical weapons.

The most Iran can do is to lob conventional ballistic missiles at Israel. Nothing else. Conventional ballistic missiles can cause serious damage. But that damage is incomparable to what a small tactical nuke will do.

If these dudes can bomb an embassy, commit a genocide, and kill the leader of a country and get away with it, then no atrocity is outside their reach. They are not people to reason with. And the more they suffer defeat on the battlefield, the more desperate and irrational they get.

Also talking about the protests, those have very little effect on governments, especially the US. Millions protested the Iraq war and the US still went on with it anyway. Same as the anti-genocide protests. The US and EU governments generally clamped down on those too. There was zero media coverage with the US using the law, ICE, Police, Universities, and the Secretary of State to hunt down protesters. Any protests following the US or Israel nuking Iran will go the same way.

⚡The IRGC attacked another vessel in the Strait of Hormuz, resulting in damage to the engine room and one casualty among the crew.

The rest of the crew are now being assisted by the Omani Coast Guard.

In big 2026, that short man in the Moscow still they draw imaginary red lines!!!!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Let me quote the british responses to his saber rattling!!!

"that Britain stood "shoulder to shoulder" with Ukraine.

"Russia should be in no doubt about the resolve of this Government to stand against Russian aggression, in Ukraine and against the UK and our allies"

The UK, they added, was "committed to providing the equipment Ukraine needs to defend itself against [Russian President Vladimir] Putin's illegal invasion"

Russia don fall sha,, nobody cares about Teddy bear rants!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂

P.s The UK is publicly stating they are helping Ukraine, while the Axis of rubbish can't even publicly say they are supporting Iran!!! China and Russia can't even assert boldly their support for Iran!!!

⚡Ukrainian drones continue to try breaking through to Moscow from the southwest, south, southeast, and east.

Heavy Russian air defence activity throughout the region is reported. Russian air defence is also shooting down Ukrainian drones as they fly through Tula and Ryazan Oblasts towards Moscow.

So far, air defence has been very effective, with no confirmed impacts reported and dozens of interceptions recorded.

⚡During today's massive drone attack on Moscow, Ukraine launched over 500 long-range drones of various types. One of the targets was the Moscow Oil Refinery.

Of these 500+ drones, not a single one impacted. Every single drone was intercepted by the first, second, and third rings of air defence around Moscow, as well as by mobile fire groups along the way through Ryazan, Tula, Kursk, Kaluga, Oryol, and Smolensk Oblasts. Several small fires broke out in various parts of Moscow Oblast due to falling debris.

Over 500 drones that could be used to attack valuable Russian targets closer to the border with much higher damage were wasted in a futile attack on Moscow. And unlike Ukraine, Russia doesn't appear to be anywhere near running out of interceptor missile stockpiles, and has sufficient mobile fire groups and interceptor drones to intercept drones along the way.
