Sincerely, many of the international students were deceived by the government of Canada and the agencies that played a middleman role in their applications.

Hitherto, after completion of the studies, there were pathways to getting PR which I’m sure still exist in some provinces. The issues is, after taking in more than their accommodative capacity, raking in millions of dollars from the students, the government is now changing gear!

What made her think that an Indian would leave all the tech schools in India travelled to Canada, pay exorbitant school fees and at the end you want him to leave without even a PGWP? Most colleges in Canada were dependent on foreign students to fund their budgets over the years. I know a school that laid off up to a hundred workers because of the cut in foreign students admittance. After selling Canada and the opportunities in it to international students you want them to leave empty handed? Anyway, though it’s tough, it’s no excuse for overstaying your visa.
