He used mopping stick on the girl who is his co staff and told her that she can't do anything, so she called her brothers on him....

That's the mobbing stick he used in flogging her for refusing to do the work that is not part of her job..

Her job is to translate Chinese to the Chinese people, the guy is also a Chinese translator yet he asked her to join the labourer and do their work..

She thought he was joking until he picked up this mobbing stick and started flogging her..
