According to Osun state police , it was rival cult groups that attacked Adeleke’s convoy in Osogbo yesterday in a bid to gain access to Davido .

I saw videos of him online last week on motorcycle celebrating the election victory while making cultist signs and shouting their slangs . In my mind I was like “what are the odds that a rival cult group attacks him in this vulnerable state for provocation and they tag it as political attack ?” . I guess got my answer already within a week .

I still don’t understand what made that boy join cult despite having a very soft background that protected him from vices like cultism/gangsterism . He didn’t even attend Nigerian public institutions where kids from wealthy backgrounds are sometimes forced to join gangs/cults . Perhaps it was just peer pressure and his desire to be seen as “rugged “

Now that he’s even mixing politics with the life of a celebrity , he’s at high risk considering he don belong .

The fact that they could target him even with the kind of security his uncle the executive governor has should scare him. Make him papa just tell am to either stay Lagos or America where his attackers will fear law enforcement . I don’t think cultist in all those Osun state really fear police o

They saved subsidy, increased allocations, and borrowed X5 of what they saved.

I was looking at the debt FCT is in. Wike don borrow wetin the next 5 Ministers no go fit pay back.

Looking at it from a logical standpoint Nigeria has infrastructure deficit that would take Billions of dollars to fix.

The unfortunate reality is if we plug all the corruption holes and/or Nigerians become overnight saints we still don't have nearly enough revenue to fix all our problems.

So what are the options? Don't borrow maintain fiscal discipline that would drive down debt but won't likely grow your economy because you're unable to invest in infrastructure that would stimulate productivity.

Second option borrow so you can fund needed infrastructure but on the downside there's a risk a substantial part will be stolen while adding to your national debt.

No straightforward answers.

Added to that the irresponsibility of many Governors especially in the North. While the Enugu State Governor is building infrastructure and the Abia government is clearing debt the one in Kano decides mass marriage is the best thing not forgetting sponsoring Hajj.

Just like a protected girl might not want to let people think she is a Jew and might go overboard with vices just to belong

I saw a video of a homeless girl obviously a drug addict who sleeps under the bridge she said she was brought up in a strict family but when she got to Covenant someone passed her a blunt so that she doesnt look like a Jew, she lied that she has taken it before and even overdid it this becoming an addict

Known street guys like Burna Olamide Zlatan Wizkid don't need to prove or go overboard to prove themselves na ajebo wey wan dey move with big boys dey do that mostly

Thank you for this detailed explanation If I had given that explanation they will say its because of APC

I think everyone can see the massive infrastructure development going on even in Abuja people are saying they've never seen this much development like under Wike. Same with most part of Nigeria

We cannot be complaining about having dilapidated infrastructure yet complaining about efforts to build it

Ellexy is that clear

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 2:53pm On Aug 20
This man actually made reasonable points as funny as this video may sound. APC brought 16 governors , the senate president and several political machinery to combat Adeleke at the just concluded Osun Governorship election .

Adeleke promising the same APC his support at the federal level shortly after the election just sounds like he doesn’t really regard the sacrifice of the people and doesn’t value the will of the very people who voted for against all odds .

Anyways sha, they say politics is a game. Goodluck to all of them in the game they are playing.

So Nigeria saved 1000 from Subsidy removal, and went on to borrow 4000 extra?

So was it really the Subsidy that was the headache in the first place?

Also, with what Taiwo Oyedele showed us, is it fair to agree with Atiku that Subsidy should be brought back?

In hindsight, Nigeria should have never inserted themselves into the girls situation, especially in the manner they did.

The whole red carpet that led to her winning a pageant here was unnecessary.

If Subsidy is brought back how will it be financed? Remember PMB did N30Trn Ways and Means that hasn't been fully paid back. So where will the money from subsidy payment come from? Will Dangote sell at a loss when subsidy is brought back?

As to the bold look at it this way.

Your house bill is N100 out of it you spend N40 to subsidize data purchase so madam and the kids can enjoy free monthly wifi. Meanwhile you earn N70 monthly out of which you use N40 to pay for wifi mentioned earlier.

Now you say everyone should pay for their own data. Now you have restored your full N70 that you earn monthly but you still have N100 as your monthly bill meaning you have to make up the remaining N30 and you don't yet have an alternative revenue so how do you make up the N30? Is it not by borrowing?

What I've described crudely it what is happening on a macro level.

Subsidy removal as painful as it is has freed up some revenue but not enough to cover all the government current expenditures which for now only can be covered through borrowings.

If someone else can find a way to fund all our expenditure without borrowing hey I'm all for it.

How will the debt of 4000 be financed?

We stopped Subsidy to free up some debt (I agree with this), and then in 3 years, we plunged ourselves into a debt of almost 3 times that of subsidy.

So a debt of 1000 is crucial to be stopped, but a debt of 4000 isn't?

Atiku has now stated that he would add subsidy back. If you can borrow 4000, is it the 1000 that was the problem?

With her passport, she can relocate to somewhere else. Why she wan die put for SA?

I saw a video of protesters hitting her family members outside the court. These people can easily shoot her or stab her in public.

I don't think you understand what izzou is saying or trying to put on d table..

With subsidy..our debt was X naira.

Removing Subsidy which would have made d debt way less....Our debt has skyrocketed to 3X n ur headcahe on ur write up was/is where would money come fromhuh?

What meaningful positive have you seen from d subsidy-trillions redirected except from more debt ......

And with cult/gang war, na one unknown useless boy wey no get N5k to his name go run the hit. And bullet no know the difference between celebrity and agbero

Currently there is the trial of Keefee D, the shot caller who is alleged to order the hit on Tupac because Tupac and his crew Suge Knight beat up Keefee D cousin Orlando Anderson at a boxing match

See how a man of Tupacs status and value was leveled by randoms. Even if they prosecute the killers, imagine the value they would have denied the world in Tupac

I know Davidos dad is level headed and tries to reign him in but Davido dey always move recklessly, even in the industry, he is likely to have had more beef with others than anyone else
