Understand on Martin Zubimendi situation -

Towards the end of last season there were signs he was struggling a little off the pitch. Homesick. First season away from home, in the toughest league in the world, no winter break like in Spain, it takes its toll.

Mikel Arteta is aware and has personally got involved. He's had Martin over to his family home regularly to help him settle, keep him around family. The club have also flown family members over from Spain regularly.

Arsenal's stance remains - if Martin decided he wanted to move back to Spain, Mikel would not stand in his way. But as of today, nothing is advanced and no talks have taken place.
I believe he will be back to his best as he played the most number of games last season (56 matches) and second in most minutes behind Rice, he was gassed-out similar to the Rice we saw at the World Cup...

The rest should have done him some good...

Yea.. Now that we have Merino and Bruno, his minutes would be managed

I happy as we cooked man city yesterday.

It will give Arteta a psychological effect that he can beat man city now anyhow he likes. That PEP fear factor is no longer there.

Again, I will say it. If Arteta trusts MLS with enough game time, he will cook this season and most likely win our POTS.

I’m glad Odegaard is regaining his form back. E remain Saka.

Injuries nearly did Odegaard dirty.

Abeg make Arteta rest Saka
That guy needs rest.
Let madueke and that dowman kid be sharing position for now until real game start.
Saka and Rice needs rest.
My only concern is I don't know why Madueke is all dancing and very little end product.
He needs to improve.
Sell Jesus
Veira
Nelson
Arizza
And that Spanish 36.
I dare say keep the others

Injury affected Odegard and it's affecting White.
It also affected Saka too.
I remember before NYSC. I used to play games at a school field opposite our house then.
Then one crazy guy gave me a red card tackle.
My leg needed serious medicated massage.

After about some months I went for NYSC.
We had football matches na ..as per platoon.
As I was training my injury came back.
I had to started playing differently from the way I used too.
In fact because of that I didn't play at the NSYC camp.
However after deployment
The school had a field and guys used to play.
So when the harmattan was over by mid March or so
It was Sokoto by the way.
We started playing football
I discovered my injury was fully healed.
Na so I begin play my normal self culminating to our final match with the indigenes, natives and residents of that place.

And those guys like football die.
Though we lost 1 nil.
I was the man of the match.
I was everywhere.
You know like Declan rice stopping opposition atttack recovering balls from opponents creating spaces and initiating attack. Then those who played front for us was were not clinical.
So that experience, I always put that into context whenever I see a player back from injury.
I recall I said injury can change the way a player plays when Odegard has a long layoff
Hopeful Saliba comes back.

Yea.. II've always hammered this. The psychological aspect is very important.
Now I need the same against Liverpool. We have not really been able to subdue them.
Make we wire them like 4 - 0 make their mind dey.
They are likely to parade Araujo and VVD, sangidi and sangibe.

Arteta to trust mosquera ke after he made us lose ucl because of his brainfart
Even if saliba wasn't injured I knew we will buy another defender, just wasn't expecting konsa.
It's all good we need ready made a d players in their peak for the final phase.
If we can squeeze out 60m from lfc and another 50m from Aston villa for martinelli.
Hopefully madrid come for zubi for 80m
We can get yildiz and close transfer, also integrate Ibrahim slowly into the midfield

This is when I wish we still had A. Heaven. This would have been a perfect opportunity for the kid to fight for that spot. All in all, I just look at Konsa as that stop-gap solution.

I just don’t like how we are treating our academy players. I recognize we are now in our championship window and need to keep the press but I don’t understand how we are unable to find minutes for these kids across 4 competitions in the league.

Despite how stacked Liverpool are upfront, there is no conversation about R. Ngumoha leaving but we keep shopping MLS/ Nwaneri every Eke market day like crayfish.. It really pains me. I used to put together a list of academy players to look out for, especially before the start of the season but these days I just weak because I feel the lads.

The only reason I won't complain now is if those short term players we are getting for huge money make us better than we are.

Another addition to the England clique
We now have Brazil, Spain and England. Just like Wenger in those days.
The twins we signed are from Ecuador too so we indirectly have Ecuador clique too.

I saw BBC predictions for the EPL.
Here's my own top five.
Really not in any order except for the number 1 spot.
1. Arsenal
2. Manchester United
3. Liverpool
4. Man City
5. Chelsea or Tottenham.

Oga Roland17, now that a season is upon us, how will you rate Arteta ,last season? Do you still want him gone despite winning the league?
We had this conversation that time, remember?

In this pep documentary, kudos to arteta for pushing this man but I kinda feel pep felt betrayed by him and that why he was also ruthless not leaving any single trophy for arteta until artrta fought for it.
I also noticed pep exposed zubi as our weak link(i wont mind we sell him)
As for toure he can't have a home here just like Robin the snake
