Peter Gregory Obi scored 6.1m votes in 2023. His Deputy Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso scored 1.47m. That's a combined 7.6m votes, assuming uniform in patterns. In 2023, he was without partners such as Sen. Henry Dickson, Sen. Omo-Agege, Hon. Victor Ochei, and Governorship candidates such as Sen. Aishatu Binani (Adamawa), the former SSG in Bauchi now campaigning for Governor Bauchi State, a candidate in Sokoto, Kano, Zamfara, Benue and other places. His NASS allies are also returnees, twice as experienced and desperate to get their return mandates. The Naira scarcity affected turnout in 2023 (27%), the lowest since 1997. Voter turnout was 34% in 2027. By all accounts, voter turnout is likely to surpass 33% in 2027 (going by former elections), and the candidate of the APC is not sure to be the target of them.
