It's been over 3 years with trillions of naira spent but Umahi is yet to Commission one single fully completed federal road. Prove me wrong. He gets away with his inefficiency like all the others by doubling down on his sycophancy to Tinubu. Just noise all over the place.

All those owners of luxurious buses should gather and fix the roads. When cars did not reach my rental building, I fixed it cos I know I need to rent the place. If your buses are stuck and you are losing money, why cant you do simple palliatives and fix those portions...these are not collapsed bridges or flyovers for Christ sake. No Govt can fix all the roads even in the US, UK....they have untarred roads

Na today the road spoil na and every road in Anambra was fixed by Obi. You guys are clowns. When govt was focusing on road una cry, now same una dey say some roads are bad. That road is under construction and if past govt had done it well it wouldn't have collapsed so bad.

People will understand the real definition of pain and suffering if they allow BAT and the APC to sail through unchallenged. in the next elections.

People cannot see that BAT has already failed the first test: he has been making public statements all over the place about how he has done a lot for states, but he has left out the most important detail: institutional reform and public sector reform.

BAT dug himself into a hole (as usual) with his recent comments berating governors for building utterly useless 'flyovers' that nobody uses. BAT cannot see that it makes absolutely no sense to increase resources for state governments without increasing the level of accountability...or enforcing current accountability standards - at the very least. Is it a surprise that states are in competition for who can build the most outlandish (and yet completely useless) flyovers? undecided

BAT cannot take this country to where it needs to be.

Do you know how much taxes businesses and individuals pay? I bet you do not pay a single tax to the Federal yourself. If we would not pay taxes in Nigeria we cannot expect everything. We need to all do our part. Here, we pay Federal Taxes, State Taxes, County Taxes, HOA community levy monthly. So, yes, our roads will not be like that because half of our funds go into taxes, insurances, and so on.

why are some of you like this. Did it occur to you that these companies pay taxes and are supposed to be beneficiaries of their collective contributions to the government purse. No doubt there are untarred roads everywhere in the world but not in the major veins of the transportation network. This particular road is what is called the East-West Road and it is a Federal Road., it cuts 3 geo-political zones, yet for the sake of bureaucratic corruption, these major roads are neglected for maintenance in favour of new ones where the most margins can be made.

When Tinubu started his coastal high way of fraud, we told them it's better to fix existing roads. The East West road was abandoned while they embark on the coastal road that will not be completed. Bayelsa is a swampy area and might be needing about 100 bridges on the coastal high way, how exactly is Tinubu planning on achieving that?

Oga, if you don't pay tax, please don't rub it on it.

My monthly tax is so many people's annual salary.
I am one of the few sane Nigerians that's deeply hurt when basic amenities are not provided by the government.
Why comparing our Country with the US and UK in the first place when you know we don't make as much money as them?
Our resources are enough to fix our basic amenities if the government channel them to the right course.
