Pakute:Hausa, the once great people who are now the subjects of Fulanis having lost all their traditional stools n political influence as a result of conquest fueled by religion n deception, even the emir of daura the ancestral home of the hausas where the celebrations took place is most likely a fulani, conquered ethnic groups such as t Hausa, nupe, gwari n a host of others in the north are just living under the shadows of the fulanis with very little power over their own affairs, it's really such a pity. |

chigator2:Ask yourself ? Pure commonsense, no tribe called HAUSA, yet we have the hausa language, spoken across West Africa as far as Mali and Burkina Faso. Hausa language is different from Fulfude, the Language of the Fulanis. The main identity of an ethnic group is the language, second is the culture. Removal of history from the curriculum did the youth of this country bad, they are just mere shadows. |

Pakute:That is what I find the haua community quiet unserious why accept a narrative that presents you as a community. Be samet ana sensitive for once . You're a nation on your own. All change those narrative and stop allowing some persons to reduce to mere language . You transcend that both in humans , history and language and resources . Those that joined you are the aliens and communities. |

Deepthoughts:Emir of Daura is Hausa The Hausas of Daura resisted and fought against the Fulani Jihad for a century until the British arrived. They allied With and helped the British defeat the Fulani Emir of Daura and as a reward the British reinstated their Leader (a Hausa Prince) as ruler of Daura Daura is to Hausa what Ile Ife is to Yorubas. That was why the Hausa of Daura were still doggedly fighting against the Jihadists for a Century |

Deepthoughts:Buhari is Fulani Emir of Suleja is Hausa It was his Ancestors who were driven from the Throne of Zaria they relocated to Suleja, Emirs of Argungun, Gobir and Ninji, are also Hausa, Parts of Kebbi and Parts of Zamfara There were at least 7 Hausa kings that refused to go down they simply relocated their kingdoms elsewhere with their Hausa people . After the Hausas of Daura the Hausas of Ningi in Bauchi also put up a legendary guerilla War allying with other ethnic groups to successfully resist the Jihadists https://dailytimesng.com/sultan-emir-meet-over-constitution-review-insecurity/ |
