Oh there are stars in the sky, sextillions of them. CO2 emission is not letting you see them. Go to remote areas like the rural parts of the Middle-Belt or the northern grassland where there are no vehicles emitting fumes, or people setting things on fire then you will see them again in their majestic glory. At least you can see and feel the sun, that's one star out of many - the only star closest to us which is the ultimate engine of life on this incredibly tiny planet. Fun Fact: Almost a million of our very own earth can fit inside the sun and the sun is just one star out of hundreds of billions in our Milky Way galaxy alone and there's roughly 200 billion to 2 trillion galaxies in the observable universe. There are more stars in the universe than there are grains of sand on all of earth's beaches combined. Oh and there are some other stars so big that they make our sun look like a tiny spec of dust. Chilling Fact: Like all stars, our sun will eventually run out of fuel and die, and that's the end of planet earth. The universe is unimaginable! |

You’re probably remembering something real. The biggest reason is usually light pollution: brighter streetlights, buildings, billboards, cars, and outdoor LEDs scatter light through the atmosphere, washing out faint stars. Urban growth can change the night sky dramatically within one lifetime. Other factors matter too: - Haze, humidity, smoke, and air pollution reduce visibility. - A bright Moon can hide many stars. - Childhood may have involved more time outdoors—or a darker location. - Eyesight and slower dark adaptation can make faint stars harder to see. Try going somewhere rural on a clear, moonless night, avoid screens and bright lights for about 20–30 minutes, and look again. Thousands of stars haven’t disappeared; most have become hidden behind our artificial glow. This loss is often called “losing the night sky,” and it’s genuinely sad. Source: Chatgpt |

The end of the world is near The "angel of stars" is taking them away one by one. When the last star disappears the trumpet will sound. And the earth will be filled with baddies, people will have tattoos and go to church. There'll be great hardship. Pastors will deceive for money. Rivers will overflow their banks. Beware. |

You’re not imagining it. To my understanding the universe is stretching with no limit. There really are fewer stars visible now for most of us. Here’s why: 1. Light pollution This is the big one. When you were a kid there were fewer street lights, fewer billboards, fewer phones, fewer buildings lit up all night. Now Port Harcourt and most cities are way brighter at night. All that light scatters in the air and makes the sky look like a gray glow. It’s like trying to see candles during the day — the faint stars get washed out. NASA says 80% of people now live under light-polluted skies. 2. Air quality More dust, smoke, and haze in the air also blocks starlight. Especially in cities and during harmattan/dry season. 3. Your eyes + location As kids our eyes adapt better to darkness, and we usually stayed up later outside with no phones. Plus if you moved closer to the city center, or if more buildings went up, you’ve got less dark sky above you. The stars didn’t go anywhere They’re still up there. Billions of them. It’s just that we built a ceiling of light between us and them. |

Everywhere, even villages, is lit up in the night unlike in the past when darkness was prominent . Go far away from city and town lights in the night. The stars are still there and many will still be there for millions of years. |

AsomArchitectNG:It is because Allah had used most of the stars to stone satan so that he would stop evesdroping things happening in paradise of heaven. If you doubt, here it is Qur'an 67:5 "And We have certainly adorned the lowest heaven with lamps and have made them missiles to stone the devils , and We have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze." |

When I was small, I was told that those stars represent human beings destiny in life, and once a fell down it shows the person don die. There are some Three Star that line up consecutively in the sky and those stars are called Marvelous stars. And that the more the Stars shines, the greater the Star owner destiny will shine in real life. If ya post is true, could this be too many sins on earth or what? My opinion though. |
