"Dear President Tinubu, so if Atiku Abubakar didn’t talk about subsidy, you wouldn’t know that all the people you said were benefiting from CNG were supposed to be charged less?" — Rufai Oseni

Tinubu is a real olodo. He doesn't know anything about governance.

Imagine you haven't seen any data about an issue, you started giving directives.

At this point, Atiku is the only real opposition. Any other candidate is just in the race for ego and to serve as a spoiler. Obi should step aside and either back Tinubu or Atiku. He lost significant ground with his position on subsidy.

Olodo is when your calculations tell you every Ghanian get 43 million dollars in Healthcare allocation every year. Even bigger Olodo if you believe they get $45 a year and therefore better than Nigerians.

This fuel subsidy debate seems to be the major determinant of who is the people's choice among the Presidential Candidates in the forthcoming election. So far, Atiku seems to be winning in this regard but whether he will implement it if elected or it's a mere campaign rhetorics is a debate for another day.
The two key issues about this subsidy brouhaha:
1. Bring back the subsidy regime and fight the endemic corruption that bedeviled it to ensure transparency.
OR
2. Let the subsidy removal stand and let the proceeds trickle down to the masses by investing heavily in social overhead capital to improve the people's standard of living instead of this current method of channeling the proceeds to Politicians.

Unfortunately for your principal, he is only doing catch-up. Tinubu is already several kilometers ahead of him. He is not destined to be Nigerian president and you are destined to waste your time supporting him.

And the incompetent President hired so many Yoluba Boys to defend him and propagate LIES online.

He doesn't know that the day of reconning will come. Where Nigerians will ask questions and believe only what we see physically. Not his online propaganda. Our votes will speak in the loudest volume this time.

tinubu legacy na packaged propaganda , anytime a governor does something good in lagos , tinubu supporters will quickly rush out to say the governor was following tinubu blueprint for lagos that anything any governor is doing in lagos is what tinuvbu wrote own years ago .

How can there be a worse olodo than the fake master strategist who promised to crash petrol price to less than N185 but hiked it to N1,250 despite paying subsidy illegally under a new name?

Why are you not asking your own representative and senator to impeach Tinubu for his corruption huh

NNPCL’s subsidy payment jump by 47.9% to N7.1trn in 2024

November 26, 2025

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) paid a total of N7.1 trillion as subsidy for premium motor spirit (PMS) in 2024, this sum represents a 47.9 percent increase from N4.8 trillion recorded in 2023.

This is despite the government’s announcement of subsidy removal in 2023.

The company explained that the amount, which it termed ‘energy security expense’ arises when there is differential between the exchange rate used to freeze the premium motor spirit ex-coastal price and the prevailing rate at the point of import settlement.

According to the report, government had instructed that NNPC Limited cannot sell its PMS above a certain regulated price. It added that the cost of petrol import is usually much higher that the regulated price.

Will your incompetent Tinubu vote himself?

No be we go determine his numbers of votes? For your information the entire North is locked for Atiku. We will no more vote Tinubu. Cause he is the most incompetent and clueless President Nigeria ever had.

A quick question. How old is Tinubu? Which school did he attend? grin

I think Atiku have opened another perspective ... Which " subsidy locals driven" i.e he want to subsidy crude direct to dangote Refinery which negate need for funds to subsidy or discard the opaqueness that surround fuel importation .. they are on their own

Is it New ..No ! Countries like saudi arabia, Russia, argentina, iran have peioritize subsidy to local refineries ...therefore the model is feasible

What makes it more feasible to meet our local needs the chances of BUA refinery about 200m bdp capacity add that Dangote capacity we are over daily demand

The model is feasible nd pro people as well, what govt just have to is scale up crude production optimally to make it feasible to meet local refinery demands ...we have crude 4 debt shortfalls .so govt must optimize for the model to work
