Like in the brokers side. Our local platforms still have a long way to go. Still suprised that our local platforms still have stocks/ETF that is available on the likes of VEST but not on the local plaform, examples CRCO, MULL etc.

Going further a platform like Bamboo will be the last I will recommend for anybody, you will be paying one of the highest commission possible with a base of minimum commission of 75 cent, while the main commission is around 1.5% or may be higher now. So, you are already starting with a big handicap of high commission.

For local platform, "HISA" looks better. They are fully alive and fairly responsive when you tell the to add a stock not previously von the platform.

My 10 cent note of caution, please be weary of ideas you should take as authentic. Some people are paper trading and do not have practical grip of the market. Taking ideas from a paper trader can be dangerous.

In conclusion, I will say take action start trading. But, get some background idea and be weary of whom you follow.

This guys empted my account in the name of monthly charges. Are you sure of this because I have since deleted the yeye app. It's like forcing someone to trade which should be a crime.

It is true monthly charge has stopped since last month (Aug 2026). But note that the platform seems to be testing ideas to gauge Customers' reactions.

Any idea that reduce Customers trading activity is always stopped.

Confirmed no platform charge as at this moment.

US MARKET COMMENTS, WHERE IS THE MONEY?
Somehow, determining which one I prefer, between the NIGERIA market and US market will be a difficult task.

Looking at transparency, I will prefer the US market especially when it come to oil stocks. The only issue is that chasing oil stocks has become old school investing!!! The best sector now is technology.

This is one of the stocks we are looking at currently!!! Note that we cannot assume we will buy a stock and hold it forever. Better to buy what is in leading sector at a particular point in time and get out (temporarily) when the sector is out of favour. Know this an have peace of mind.

The fact that Nigeria stocks don't move in sectors is what I don't like about the market. It is like each stock is a standalone stock, it is only when a sector is in trouble that sector analysis works (looks funny).
