Tinubu can drag muslim north with atiku, will share SW with atiku & Peter obi will also share NC with Atiku & Peter obi. Tinubu will lose before 12pm on election day. |

Nothing surprising here. Igbos always blvote along tribal lines. The irony is that they are the first to label others tribalists when voting |

ElevationD:Oga speak for yourself...... delta goes beyond delta north, okowa failed because Atiku as a northern candidate was rejected by the people. And very difficult to sell.......obi was the closest option to them. Now the pdp is dead and all their structure already collapsed into the apc, that should tell you apc has grown stronger. . ......delta south will go apc forger that your obi talk and thats where the voting population is. Now you have a southern president with all the state structures in place and you think the apc will want to loose delta.... Apc has grown bigger un delta and the NDC is still wobbling, |

When it comes to Mr Peter Obi, Delta & Edo States no dey eva joke with him. Every politician knows this. The same applies to millions of Nigerians, every Barrack in the country, Lagos & Abuja included. How can explain that millions of Nigerians voted & elected Mr Peter Obi as President in 2022 just six months to presidential election. Even a repentant El Rufai would tell you that Mr Peter Obi won in at least 19 States of the federation in 2023. Millions of Nigerians are desperate for a New Nigeria come 2027 and at all costs & by all means, they will vote Wisely for NDC, Mr Peter Obi and Alhaji Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso for a New Nigeria. |

Lithiumite:Oga, stop running your mouth in the affairs of Delta state. You are not from there and have no single knowledge of the politics of the state. Okowa did not fail because of Atiku in 2023. He did not need to sell Atiku. PDP was the party then and had huge popularity. Okowa could not sell himself and failed as the VP candidate because there was a very popular movement in the state called the Obidient movement, fully supporting Obi, completely youth and middle age based who were tired of Okowa himself. Okowa was already tagged as a betrayer, which cost him hugely. Civil servants were tired of Okowa and everyone wanted him out while he was the sitting governor. He lost popularity completely at the grassroots. His last minute sharing of 10k deposits into the accounts of civil servants, with his appeal the night before the election, saved Sheriff who would have been swept away by the Obi wave also. Okowa as the VP was swept away by Obi who was long popular, even before the election in the entire state. For your information, before Wike and his group brought confusion into PDP, coupled with Okowa’s fear of the corruption charge that made him decamp suddenly to APC, it was completely impossible for APC to make inroads in Delta state. The only area APC was found was Delta central, which anyway was the district where APC took off when the party arrived Delta state. Ibori teamed up with APC because of his relationship with Tinubu, allowing APC to gain grounds in the senatorial area, winning his daughter’s seat. Aside from that area, PDP was very solid and the only factor against PDP was a stronger Obi and LP. Delta politics is not an area known to you in anyway. That PDP collapsed all the structures into APC does not mean that all PDP members went into APC. There were and still are those aggrieved persons who never wanted anything to do with APC. There are those who stayed aloof; those who felt left out and have been waiting to deal with decamping PDP leaders who made them feel some pain. Aggrieved foundation APC members who were pushed away by Sheriff are waiting for payback day. The late Chuba Okadigbo once said that in politics you must read the barometer and do the arithmetics. Delta politics typically is described as that. You think that having been rigged out, Ned Nwoko will give up Delta north without a fight? You have not heard of protest votes? Maybe you need to know that Delta north is the border area of Anambra state. Aside from the Igbo speaking citizens of Delta state, those from across the river reside in different areas of Delta north and are Obi’s supporters. The same wind that blew in Anambra state giving Obi victory there, happened in Delta north giving Obi victory there. The Niger bridge is the boundary between Asaba and Onitsha and people walk across the bridge from the two cities. How can you cut off Obi’s voters in Delta north? Obi is very popular in Agbor, Okowa’s place, not to talk of Warri or other major Delta cities across the state. Okowa knows that his battle is not just against Victor Ochei, a well known and seasoned grassroots politician and the former speaker, but also against the name of Peter Obi. You think money does it all? With the youths in Delta state, money is not a factor. Oga, talk about Ogun state or Lagos state. Delta, Edo and the entire south east are you areas that you have visited, reside or have any knowledge about their people and events. You only watch social media pages to arrive at you wrong conclusions. |
| Re: Senator Ned Nwoko Campaigning For Atiku In Delta But Crowd Was Shouting "Obi" by ElevationD: 7:50am On Aug 30 |
Diligence:Don’t mind them. We all saw Wike openly state that Obi won that election. Kwankwanso knows the difference. He also is riding on the popularity of Obi to prepare himself for 2031. For Kwankwanso, it is rub my back and I rub your own. If he only knew before that Obi would defeat him in the north in 2023, he would have teamed up with Obi. Now he understands the power of Obi’s name. That’s the only name feared by APC and not Atiku. Obi is the only name that worries APC. |
| Re: Senator Ned Nwoko Campaigning For Atiku In Delta But Crowd Was Shouting "Obi" by Lithiumite: 8:10am On Aug 30 |
ElevationD:You are just yapping on about what not, where in my post have I disputed obi is very popular in delta north,go back to the original post and see my affirmation of obi's Influence in that place. But you disregarding APC’s growing strengths and underestimating their influence too will be a naive position to anchor your hopes.......Delta south APC is very strong there especially the riverine regions and thats a huge factor for anybody, also the incumbent gov is from Central and because Delta north hates okowa doesn't mean Central will do same for sheriff. Obi can win delta north but I would readily give south to APC while Central remains the battle ground and will be a direct fight between sheriff from osubi, okpe lga and ibori from oghara Ethiope west and omo agege from orogun in ughelli north. |
| Re: Senator Ned Nwoko Campaigning For Atiku In Delta But Crowd Was Shouting "Obi" by ElevationD: 8:47am On Aug 30 |
Lithiumite:Oga, stop forming “osubi, okpe lga and ibori from Ogbara Ethiope….” as if you have the faintest idea of where those places are located. If I ask you how to arrive at in Okpe or Orogun, you go open mouth down. “ Delta north is a known obidient stronghold but okowa backed by state machinery will be difficult to beat”. Those are you words, stated previously. People on ground in Delta state are telling you the reality and you are busy disputing what they know. Who says APC is not in power there? Who says APC will not fight to retain the seat? You claimed earlier that the realities of 2023 and 2027 are no longer the same and you have been informed that nothing changed with the supporters of Peter Obi. His structure was and has been completely not only retained, but heavily upgraded and fortified. No one should underestimate others in politics. You do not want APC to be underestimated, but in the same breathe you underestimate a person who swept APC and PDP aside easily in 2023 and who is still solidly on ground in the state. You underestimate NDC, just as you all underestimated LP before the 2023 elections. You said “NDC is wobbling”. You are not there in Delta state, you do not know the events there and simply drew your conclusion about what you know nothing regarding NDC in Delta state, just by reading social media pages. “Delta north hates Okowa…”. Who told you that? If Delta north hates Okowa, why did he lose the entire state when he tried to be the PDP candidate in 2023? Or Delta north has become Delta state as a whole? Politics is all about preference. He lost because people saw a different person who they could trust. Oga, talk of the SW areas that you know. Leave the SS and SE areas to those who reside there or who are from those areas. Listen to what they tell you about events and people of the areas and watch. You are only an APC supporter who hopes that APC will win all positions at the ballots in 2027. It is perfectly normal to have such hopes as a supporter, but do not trivialize the efforts of other parties and people who look out for the same positions. “Obi can win delta north but I will readily give south to APC…”. How can you give what you do not have please? You will not vote there. Even if you are from that area, na only one vote you get. |

ElevationD:You are just a ranter and nothing more, where did I underestimate your pretentious candidate and his mob........i acknowledged is strengths in the Delta north and even gave him a win probability there as an objective analyst should........but you haven't at any point acknowledged the strengths of the party you will be up against, your myopia my gain,I care no less. Obi cannot beat apc in Delta south, take that to the bank and yes the dynamics for every election is always different from the last.....tinubu isnt buhari and both tinubu and obi are both southerners. The battle ground is Delta central and the odds still seemingly favor apc.......you seat in your little corner in the midst of your few friends and family who appeal ro ur sentimentality and you speak for a whole state where the sands are always shifting. Just so you know,I have a logistics hub in @ airport junction in warri and I have transversed several parts of Delta from umunede to ibi to uleh to patani........I was in utokutu and aladja just last month for a clients father's burial. |

Lithiumite:Na so. Stop forming “I sabi” so that you will not be labeled Mr. Sabi Sabi. Traversing is not synonymous with being a part of it having knowledge. You no kuku go anywhere. All your journey no pass Agege pen cinema to Mushin, Moshalashi, Okokomaiko to Abule anything. “….you seat in your little corner in the midst of your few friends..”. Sorry young man, you are not discussing with a fellow little boy. Clearly, you proved that you are not from Delta state. How come you want to form knowledge of Delta state, its people and politics more than those who are from the state? How does your visit or traversing translate to political realities? Or you think that traveling around is tantamount to having knowledge of the people and the real desire of those who vote on election day? Please keep your braggado to the SW. Na so una people wey dey do tyler and plumber work for Onitsha and Owerri dey claim say dem know Warri pass Warri people. “Obi cannot beat apc in the Delta Central”. But he crushed the combined APC and PDP in the entire Delta state in 2023. I believe that you were playing football on your street and drinking alomo bitters + action bitters while voters were busy casting their ballots in favour of Obi that year in Delta state. If you manage to get to Warri again, simply ask who’s name resonates more between Peter Obi and your APC candidate Tinubu. Peter Obi scored over 340k votes in 2023, while the combined PDP and APC votes, with Okowa as the VP candidate of the then leading party PDP scoring approximately 250k votes. Perhaps you presume that your crooked leader and your manipulating “state machinery” apply to Delta and Edo states as they are effectively used in your territory. With the hardship and misery inflicted on the already aggrieved citizens of Delta state, you still hope APC will defeat Peter Obi/NDC in Delta state? You must certainly be sleeping and waking with plenty of akpurachia. |

Kdon2:Come on go and sit down. People wey know something dey talk, you wey just finish primary school dey out mouth. What do you know about what you just said? “He will force them to become Ibo…”. Some of you just let baba so pe mentality to stop you from reasoning properly. Can you say that an Ajase person because he is Porto Novo, that is if you know where that is, should reject his or her Yoruba heritage? By your thinking, an Ajase person in the republic of Benin should not be called a Yoruba person because the border separates him or her from Nigeria. Meanwhile the Ajase people are complete Yorubas, separated historically by wars and colonized by the French. That they speak French does not make them non Yoruba speaking people. The same goes for the Igbos of the Niger Delta for your information small boy. Vote for Tinubu as you wish. It is not in your place to advise others who to vote for. Enjoy your life as a school boy, whose parents are paying his bills for now. |
