Regardless of education, or exposure, the average woman is way too prone to religious psychosis.
Your post falls apart when women in sane climate is taking into account. People in Africa In general are prone to religious/traditional psychosis and the reason is obvious.

I don't have the time to keep reading all this rubbish where you keep trying to pass off your dumb opinions as facts.

* Any pastor who misuses his position as a servant of God will face his wrath.

* Giving to the church and supporting the work of God is good and worthy of praise, regardless of the eventual outcome.

* Whatever you do or give to the church, your intentions are what matter to God. He judges the heart and the motives behind your actions, not merely the outcome.
This is the problem, you believing people that have chosen the pulpit as their medium of perpetuating scam are pastors.

I hope you're not one of those they brainwash with touch not my annointed sha.

The truth is, a lot of Nigerians in the diaspora may not actually be ready for a functioning Nigeria. For some, living abroad is mainly about earning a better living, not necessarily because they prefer a more organized society.

Deep down, some are still comfortable with the same disorder, dishonesty, toxicity, and chaos they grew up around. The difference is that they want to return with enough money and status to rise above the dysfunction rather than change it. They don’t necessarily want the system to work for everybody; they just want to be in a position where the broken system works in their favor.

That’s why I sometimes wonder: if Nigeria suddenly became as organized, accountable, and structured as the countries many Nigerians migrate to, would everyone genuinely be happy about it?

It’s deeper than this, though. One day I go explain am well.
Factos! 💯

Your question should be 3 years, not 10.

I can't remember the exchange rate as at 2022/2023 though

The problem with your post is that you seem to think that when someone willingly gives something at the altar of God, they are giving it to the pastor rather than to the Almighty, the Savior of the world. Like I said irrespective of whether the pastor turns out to be a charlatan or not, if your intention was genuinely to honor God and support His work, then that is what ultimately matters.

I wanted to say this too.

Look at crusades and women are in large numbers. Women are open to worship anyone who presents himself in the name of religion.

There's one Prophetess that Mark's algorithm is always forcing down my throat. Her church na women full am.

Ahn Ahn
I bin dey follow that particular woman meltdown videos at one point, and she seemed reasonably exposed enough, yet scaman still run her scope to that extent embarassed

Women for this our part need dey do better.

Desperate people are gullible and can easily be taking advantage of. You just have to hope you are never in such situation.

Prophetess Sommy
I thought as much that it is her.
The slim tall lady with good dress sense.

Anyway, religion gives women a beacon of hope and softens them not to face the painful truth or take the most practical decision. A woman with a cheating husband would first convince herself it is spiritual and the other woman is the enemy. A man with a cheating wife would never reason that way. For childbearing, the woman is jumping from one church to the other, the man is thinking of taking a second wife. Same with marital delay, errant kids or financial difficulties.

Years back I had senior colleagues telling me with so much excitement that I would become religious when I marry and start having kids. Some of them claimed their wives were never this religious, she only turned that way inside marriage. It was obvious they couldn't wait for the ultimate religious psychosis and soft landing it gives them. I replied them that any marriage that would turn me into a religious fanatic is one I would leave in a heartbeat because when you check, it is same template these pastors use. Marriage, marriage, marriage. I even saw one Pastor Mrs praying all sidechicks die of cancer.

So while men complain of these religious women, they are in fact lucky most Nigerian women are that way as they cannot handle the opposite. It is one of the threads holding many Nigerian marriages. As with anything, it would also have its downsides.

grin

Regardless of what you think about giving money to scammers as a way to reach God, I'm sure you'd agree that the women would rather they're giving money to the more legit pastors than to outright scammers, especially when you consider that the exploitation often goes beyond just them losing money to these guys.

You sound like a effing zombie. God is not an author of confusion. He gave us brains and gave us discernment. If you choose to not use it you are not getting special blessings for that.

You will experience avoidable hardships for your foolishness and he will tell you he did not send you on fool's errand.

We were told to test spirits not follow foolishly.

He is a charlatan. Zombified Foot soldiers like him are necessary to keep the grift going.

That is like a student going to church when he should be studying and he is shocked he failed his exams.

If giving to charlatans under the guise of religion still brought blessings to a people Nigeria will not be where it is today.

It is obtuse and deliberately wicked to tell people to keep funding the lifestyle of grifters and lie to them that you're doing the will of God.
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by TradingGod: 10:19am On Sep 01
Giving is a universal principle that is operational both in the physical world and in the spiritual world also

If you don't give you can never get

It's a law and even God himself operates in this principle

St. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God to get the souls of men, he needed to Give his only begotten Son

It's so funny how some people who understands and use this principle everyday are criticizing the church for using this principle even thos they know that the physical world mirrors the spiritual world

Here is Jesus Himself talking about this Giving principle

St. Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

And mind you when a church member gives to their pastor, there are not actually giving to their pastor, but they are giving to God through their pastor because their pastor is the medium through which God talk to them shikena

Another Lamba man don come again grin

Say na they are giving to God

I'm sure even those that were going to Reverend King Church thought they were "giving to God"

If you like give to one scammer on a pulpit and think it is going to God you're deceiving yourself.

And I pray more Nigerians are released from the grip of these charlatans

So Obi was in a church on Sunday, and spoke to the congregation that they should pray for the politicians..

No statement on who to vote
No statement on why you should vote

Just pray. And we have seen people springing up here and there, dragging him for playing regional politics grin

They are going to drag him regardless.

I wish he could just give up this gentlemanly politics he plays and come to their level to beat them at their game.

It's been a while since I kept up with politics and maybe it's just in my mind, but I feel like the 2023 momentum has not been replicated or topped this time around.

If this girl no do jail, God will punish Ebele Jr and his family ! Ajeh!

She should not be allowed to make this tongue-in-cheek apology and get away with her crime.

If I am a member of Ebele family , even if my brother she accused does not want to pursue a case against her, I will take it upon myself to make sure I go to any length to have her punished severely . How can she drag our entire family and think making this smug video is all the consequence she will ever face?

A man in my neighbourhood was accused by his neighbour of sexually molesting their 16year old daughter, the woman and her husband were beating the man and calling other people to join in. They were about to drag him to police station, but the man insisted they should go to the palace first and swear at the shrine in the presence of king and other elders to prove his innocence. Omo that move was what saved the man, the woman refused but the husband and others "some of whom were already beating the man" agreed to the request. When they told the girl she will swear at the shrine, she burst cry and confessed it was her mother that told her to lie against the man. They went to the palace, police was invited and the woman was arrested and taken away. I hear she has been charged to court by the police. A man is guilty without evidence until favour find you, even your own daughters can accuse you of sexual molestation. All men be watchful and careful....

Same individuals who when asked why they refused to drag the Imam who made divisive comments, asked us "Who knows Jingir?" now sees something bad in PO going to church..
