It was always going to be a difficult team, especially away from home and against Ebening who knows how to set his teams up. I just wished we were tactically better, especially after the first.

We relied too much on our full backs and sacrificed the attacking impact of Odegaard and Rice. I mean we got the assist from Calafiori but it stifled our attack. Also, there is no justification for Havertz finishing this game..

I enjoyed how we frustrated these losers till the dying minutes of the game. I like how we match their agrressiveness with even greater physicality.

Bruno Guimaraes is a great addition to this team ; I'm glad he's out of the tough players arsenal players will have to play this season.

Maximum 6 points from our first 2 games with 4 goal difference is not a bad way to start our league title defence at all 😎

No justification at all. Man was just falling all over the place with little or no contact.
Eze still with his yoriyori football. I hope we get that malick Fofana guy.

Players like Havertz are just frustrating to watch most of the times. He would score difficult goals like the one he scored against PSG in the champions league final, only for him to lose a one-on-one vs Goalkeeper with the keeper off his line like this evening.

Hopefully we add that Bournemouth striker Kroupi Jr to our attack options Sha

This is the takeaway from this game for me. Else, unimpressed.

As long as you collect your regularly scheduled beating from us, I couldn’t care less what anyone does against a washed up B. White..

FUN FACT: Aston Villa didn't even have a shot on target yesterday night.

Imagine playing on someone's home turf and tbey couldn't manage to put shot on target past your defence and goalkeeper 🤗.

This season go long for our opponents and Those attempting to hate-watch us o

Honestly, this is the main point! I see ALOT of so called Arsenal fans on YouTube calling the performance(Arsenal's) terrible and I wonder what wrong with people. Arsenal literally controlled the game, and proved one more time that they have the best defense in the world. Hopefully a showdown against Chelsea will shut em up especially if we don't concede. I prefer winning 1-0 than 4-3 any day and this is not me being biased.

Some Arsenal fans don't really know what they want. They probably want us to play an open ended game against good ebening who wouldn't hesitate to punish us , they forget all that matters is securing the maximum 3 points while neutralizing our opponent's tactics.

I will not fault the team's conservative approach provided it yields necessary results against our opponents. Gone were the days we would play 7-5 against Reading, play 3-4 against Newcastle and struggle to defend against top 6 sides.

As it stands, we need our attackers like Havertz coverting their chances and we would cause most teams great pain.

Eze nonchalant attitude is shocking, he has a chance to play-in a free Saka and he dressing the ball until that Villa player slide him off it...

Bruno G ball yesterday and his introduction was keenly felt straight away....
