Which promises?
-1). Promise of fuel subsidy that has ended up as one of the biggest scam of the corrupt Tinubu-led APC govt?

-2). Promise of fighting corruption that have ironically been the basis and long legalized as official policy of the govt. All corrupt cases are buried.

-3). Promise of providing 24 hours electricity that ended a flop & more economic woes for the citizens & folding up of many SMEs with many struggling to get alternate source of energy? Not forgotten that Aso Rock itself disconnected from the epileptic national grid for solar panels?

-4). Promises revamping the 3 majors refineries in Nigeria today that ended up with billions of $ TAM with no functional refinery till date. What about the modular refineries?

So now, where is our moral compass as a nation, especially for the younger generation coming up? That they can cut corners on the way top provided they have deep pockets?

Are these lawyers not ashamed of themselves?
Which promises exactly? An incumbent government is supposed to campaign on their actual results and track record, not on new promises.
You cannot tell people who are already suffering from high inflation, expensive fuel, and a bad economy to look forward to another round of promises for 2027. We should judge the administration by what they have achieved on the ground right now, not by words.

One ex governor once said during one of their fake promises that electricity was not rocket science. He eventually served as the minister in charge for eight years. Within those eight years, electricity became worse.
