Goodevening everyone, I use a 2007 Honda accord. The car has been serving me fine but the main issue I have been having is the ball joint pulling out(specifically the right side) It has happened to me 3 times this year and honestly it's making me want to sell the car.
The mechanic has advised I will have to buy complete upper and lower arm tokunbo
Apart from ball joints, your shaft heads or shaft cup can also pull.

If you are sure it's the ball joint, most likely you are buying fake China ball joints or the hole for the ball joint in your knuckle has become slack

Buy a tokunbo knuckle with the ball joint alone on it, make sure it's a direct tokunbo & replace

I need some help diagnosing a problem with my 2009 Honda Civic 1.8L automatic.

The car intermittently goes into limp mode. When this happens, it gets stuck in one gear and won’t go much above about 40 km/h. If I switch the car off and restart it, it may drive normally again for a while. I’ve also discovered that disconnecting the battery for some time temporarily helps , but it eventually returns.

I scanned the car and got these codes:

PGM-FI / Engine :P2185 — ECT Sensor 2 Circuit High Voltage

P0606 — ECM/PCM Processor Malfunction

The scanner showed each of these twice.

There are also ABS codes:
• 11-19 — Right-Front Wheel Speed Sensor Malfunction
• 13-19 — Left-Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction
• 15-19 — Right-Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Malfunction
• 31-01 — ABS Right-Front Inlet Solenoid Valve Malfunction

The electricians I’ve spoken to are suggesting that I replace the brainbox. However, want that to only be my last resort.

Two things, either your brain box is failing or has failed or your gear box has developed an electrical issue affecting the brain box

Let your rewire get another brain box and install, test drive, if it solves the problem, pay. If not, budget for another gear

Don't be quick to change your brainbox, same thing mine was doing and I avoided all the mechanics that said i should change because I was scared they'll put a wrong one. I took it to someone in oyingbo I felt was a bit competent and he fixed it in 20 minutes without changing the brainbox, the issue is around the brainbox. The exact Fault Code-P0606

Kindly assist with the contact of the electrician at oyingbo.
My evil spirit always goes limp mode when I engage drive, codes shows shift solenoid B. I have changed the solenoid 3 times, still same. Now, ABS/VSA light is on too.

Hello Everyone, I drive an Acura MDX 2012, I have issues with steering vibration: When I drive on high speed and I apply the brakes the steering wheel vibrates quite noticeably. However, it doesn’t vibrate when I’m simply driving at high speed without braking. Can anyone help with likely causes or tips to get this fixed.

Brake discs, ball joints, tierod ends, wheel bearing or brake caliper. One or more of them are defective or stuck. Have it checked.

When you say pull out, does it pull from the socket? Or does it pull from the nut side? Or does it snap in two?
First time mine pulled it was from the nut side. There was no pin on the nut so the thing loosened. Second time it pulled from the socket.
....I was advised to get direct toks complete hub with ball joint, I've done that and I'm hoping it will last at least 6 months

Please let the engine be cold, very cold before removing shaft cup to avoid roasting your gearbox

Good evening everyone I get this error codes on my 2018 CR-V with 1.5 liter turbo engine, I've taken it to oyingbo severally they just fix one or two things and after driving the error code comes back, I read online the injectors could cause it the rewire serviced the injectors the last time saying we don't know the state of the tokunbo injector we'll be buying claiming there's no original new injectors in the market. If anyone has experienced these issues or know where I could get new injectors in Lagos to try see if that'll solve the problem. Car rough idles a little in the morning but it drives fine just don't like the error codes on the dashboard and the intelligent driving system does not work when the error code comes up. Will appreciate any input.

Please who knows a gear master that is very good to seal transmission oil leak on my Honda civic 8th gen in lagos. The leak is from inside where the transmission meets the engine, so it requires the gear to be brought down, I am very skeptical about the fix and I've been buying 1ltr of transmission fluid every month, the car is still tokunbo and I don't want to invite problems for myself by giving someone who would bring down the gear and would create a new bigger problem for me.

they can fix it without them dropping the gear just that it can be stressful cos the place is tight

That generation of CRV has a factory fault with the injection nozzles, you can either get OEM nozzles or report to HAWA and see if they can give you a replacement
