The Presidency has accused the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Peter Obi, of hallucinating and wallowing in a political fantasy land over his claims that he won the 2023 presidential election.

Reacting to the victory claims by the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, the Presidency, through the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Public Communications, Mr. Sunday Dare, said: “Mr. Peter Obi is fat on ambition but drunk on political arrogance.”

The Presidency added: “Peter Obi wallows freely in a political fantasy land. To still insist he won the presidential election after the country’s highest court, the Supreme Court, delivered a final judgment is clear hallucination.

“Who imbued him with the power to concede or not? He lacks such power. Only the Nigerian people have the power of the votes. And in 2027, they will deliver their votes massively for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, leaving no room for the kind of antics Peter Obi is already front-loading.”

Peter needs to be arrested for making such a provocative statement which is capable of triggering a civil war and genocide.

What does he mean by saying he won an election which was conducted and certified by an independent electoral commission, and same time upheld by a competent court of law.

Peter must be arrested and put behind bars!

He knows he never won. He just likes to say it. No one wins an election and abandons his mandate. Obi went to court and was filing petitions based on a civil forfeiture and double nomination of Shettima. If he believed he won, he would explain how he won by supplying numbers. He did not. He knew he lost, reason he sought Tinubu's disqualification.

Mr Peter Obi, MKO Abiola was believed to have won the June 1993 presidential elections. As a man, he refused to give up his mandate. He declared himself president in November 1993 and paid the prize for it. If you believe you won, why did you not declare yourself president?

If you believe you won the 2023 elections and could not fight to restore your mandate, it is either you never believed you won, or you are just saying things to give yourself good feelings.

You claimed Mahmood helped APC. You failed to explain how. Peter Obi, you lost the southwest, middle belt and ALL regions in the north.

The Rivers case was the easiest to detect and a no-brainer as well documented by BBC Radio.
