Spending N150k on fuel every two weeks is crazy, especially for someone without a government job.https://x.com/Waspapping_/status/2098845433837584482

helinues:Someone that was supporting atiku in 23!! There is no temporary reprieve govt can offer to ease petrol subsidy that won't hurt the economy.......rather than putting pressure on subsidy renewal rather use that energy to ask for cng infrastructure and amenities be made more accessible ,I know people who even have the money to convert but are being discouraged by the inaccessibility of the product in so many places across the country. |

Pls ask sarki what type of car he drives and where does he go that he is spending that much on fuel no weekly......I spend 180 in same period on each of my logistics vehicles but never spend anything close to that personally....it's about proper planning and strategic mobility.......a friend just got a nice electric scooter for his wife to reduce the cost of fueling 2 cars weekly and I am already thinking of one for my daughter. I have been asking that all these guys driving tundras, sequoia,f 150 and all this big trucks, where dem dey see money buy fuel, even many people are dropping their v6 cars for smaller ones. |

Subsidy is no longer possible in Nigeria because we no longer have the money to pay for it, bringing back petrol Subsidy will destroy the country go and write down this comment, because it is going to affect so Many things. If you bring back Petrol subsidy are you going to also reduce the minimum wage? Reduce the salaries of civil servants that have had their salaries increase? Reduce NYSC allowance? Reduce states allocation? Etc ? Only a scammer will tell you it is possible to pay subsidy without affecting all what I listed. If not for the war in Iran we would still be buying petrol at 700-800 naira per liter, this fuel price increase is not only in Nigeria but worldwide even Donald Trump have the Republican midterm election on the line if he doesn't find a solution to the war with Iran. Nigerians really don't know what God has done for us in this country if Tinubu didn't remove subsidy before the crisis started, petrol would have become a really scarce commodity in Nigeria and whether you like it or not you could have been paying 3k per liter for petrol even with subsidy and you wouldn't even be able to see it to buy. |
