You can use a smashing phone up until 5years and more, and its still regain most of his feature like it was bought newly. Redmi after 1 or 2 years, your phone will never remain the same again
Vivo well fits this description

This is so true. To replace the screen of my A06 is 15k. I always wonder when people shout about how expensive replacing Samsung phones are. Anyway, maybe the more.expensive ones. But A series Samsung phones have relatively cheap parts.
AO6 is lower at rank. That is why its cheap. I have that with other three bigger rank Samsung at home.

I cant use other phone except Samsung.

I think it is addiction now.. i am not a fan of iPhone at all. cool

We have one iPhone at home too. They are all strong phones.

Whichever phones you buy, make sure you have feeding money.

I see hungry people everywhere begging for money to eat, yet they are holding high end smart phones.

Nigerians and misplaced priorities are like 5&6!
Oga, phone nowadays has passed ordinary making calls. Bro.

My phone is my Diary, music gadget, small TV, organiser etc.

So think about it.

About two or 3 years ago, they replace my screen for #55,000 just because the screen went blank.
E b like say na substandard Samsung they ship to Nigeria..
Cause ever since I’ve been using Samsung phone here in South Africa I’ve never had the screen going blank, except if my phone falls down on the screen gets cracked then I have to replace it.. now the issue now is I don’t even bother myself buying original screen. I just buy the cheap ones ones and fix it myself…
Can someone tell me if the screen been sold in computer village originalhuh

I use a Samsung S25 ultra, I got it for 1.5m

Well, so far, I'm enjoying it, I wish I can attach videos, the zooming is out of the world and people always get mesmerized when I post or zoom.

Anything that works for you though!

What are you organizing, when you cannot organize food for your self?

The very first basic thing any reasonable human should sort out is food. Once you have eaten, then you can take care of the rest.

Lots of boys carry iPhones 16/17 for hand in my area only to be begging me that's using Tecno for money for food. I really don't understand these sort of generations.

You are only buying a phone screen if you buy a Samsung phone. Very flashy and functional but lacking in durability. One drop and you see the screen is almost as expensive as the phone.

I'm rocking my Vivo v70 5G FE, 650k. Decent pictures and water resistant with limitless features.

I'm obsessed with Samsung.
I have the following :

S20 ultra (x2) - - - one for me and one for my wife which now belongs to me because she switched to iPhone.

S8 plus active - fully functional

S22 fully functional

M33 5g - fully functional

S24 ultra - my current phone ( will upgrade to s27 once it comes out cos I don't think there's much difference between the 24 ultra and the 25 or 26 ultra)

I have Samsung buds 4 pro

Samsung buds 3 pro

Watch 7

Watch 8 ultra...

I don't see myself using any other phone or device apart from Samsung..

I take care of my screens wella...

I use a spigen armour casing and it protects the phone in the rare event of a fall..... Rugged case.

Even my ear buds and smart watches all have spigen cases...

All my devices are well looked after and I don't see myself using any other brand

And did I mention I also have a Samsung tag?? Oh yes I do have it....
we no call people wey dey sell samsung gadgets come here o grin grin

Samsung also have a tri-fold phone.Look it up.
McLizbae:
Thank you for this thread!

Huawei would have been the major contender with Samsung, but their separation with GMS (accommodating Google playstore and other Google services) and full migration to the underdeveloped HMS, killed their global market.

Huawei can last 10 years, and still be stable in terms of software and usability. Hardwares are way stronger than Samsung, and Huawei hold the record of the only triple fold phone in market, the mosterous Mate XT.

The need to to change the screen is just menacingly staring at your face all the time.I bought this one I'm using 2024, this is the 5th screen I shall be using. Don't tell me about getting original spare parts with Samsung, huge lie. It's all the same. The screen is always getting fried, though I've learnt some tricks to reduce it. Bro , find a premium Techno if Samsung scares you. But very honestly, buy Samsung, it's ageless.
only the S series have screen isues.

The people complaining about the screen of Samsung phone I guess it's fake fairly used 'Samsung' phone they bought.

The Samsung phone I have been using for some years now has fallen uncountable numbers of time yet no single scratch on the screen. The screen is stronger than stone. I don't understand all this noise about screen issue.

Av used the Google pixel 6 pro and google picel 6a in 2024, their screen are messed right now. Av used samsung s22 ultra and the screen is dead now, presently i use the s23 ultra. In nigeria you cannot fully enjoy the features in samsung ultra phones. I prefer the samsung regardless

You're so right. I was a Redmi lover before, but I noticed their phones deteriorate after a while. But since 2022, I've used mostly entry level Samsung phones... I have used A02, A03, and now A06. I've been using A06 since end of 2024, and phone is still working great.
Expecially their camera qualities
