People like Wike feed fat from controversy. He consciously creates drama to maintain scenic relevance, regardless of who's on the receiving end.

When he was antagonizing politicians of other parties, the APC beneficiaries were clapping in glee. But as is always the case for his kind of humans, they'll definitely turn their attention in-house by the time they run out of external enemies.

Now that Fubara has quietly succumbed and he realizes Obi and his crowd are not engaging his theatrics, he'll descend on his fellow APC goons.

It is now our turn to sit back and enjoy the reality tee-vee show from the production stables of Aso rock😹🔥.

That can never happen, tinubu would cage him, I believe Wike too much talking has destroyed him, his crave for power is what would destroy him, he can't fight all the APC governors, if not tinubu would loose the elections if he decides to keep Wike, loosing Rivers State can still give the tinubu the elections, but winning Rivers State and loosing the other states is not a good one for Tinubu, they need to destroy Wike completely.

I lucidly said he has "more electoral value and pull" than the rest of the governors. I didn't say he's more powerful.

In a hypothetical Nigeria where elections are free and fair, Wike is useless to Tinubu. But in the sordid reality that is our today's Nigeria, Tinubu will effortlessly throw away any of those 33 governors just to have Wike right where he is.

Despite all of Wike's controversies in the three-plus years that this administration has held sway, have you ever heard or seen the Iragbiji man caution, rebuke or even breathe a word of disapproval to the Obio-akpor terminator😹?

The conflict is even between Wike and the entire Igbo Apc because he is working to emerge as the 2031 Apc vice president which is supposed to be another Igbo stepping stone to the presidency.

Igbo Apc, led by Uzodinma, are now trying to prevent another 2007 when Niger-Delta emerged on the stone instead of Igbo.

Wike is not power drunk. In politics, there is something called self-preservation. Was Rotimi Amaechi not in Rivers when Tinubu chose to work with Wike? If Wike supports Tinubu without protecting himself, what would Wike bargain with? The governors say they will not support any coalition that would jeopardize the re-election of Tinubu, whereas they are against the coalition because it threatens their own interests of controlling their local politics.

Every politician meets his waterloo at some point as they all become irrelevant at some point. Those who survive the longest are those who play the game the smartest.

Where are Tinubu's fellow governors in 1999?

They are back to their professions, vocations, businesses as it should be, as it is in decent societies where public office is for service not for building empires and becoming emperors.

Democracy works where there is mass participation across leadership in order to form and culture ideologies by which society is planted, nurtured and grown.

In African politics the same people hang around power for ages, even generations so the nation is cultured around their personalities and is made stagnant and weaker by their limitations.

Countries like Cameroun, Uganda are stagnant despite ultra long standing rule by a specific set of people, whereas countries in developed democracies where leaders rise, fall and leave, where they come and go experience constant rejuvenation, renewal, refreshment.

The nation learns from what works and what doesn't and makes constant positive adjustments. A body of water that has no outflow is bound to stink. Politicians will best serve this nation by serving and leaving.

We must rid ourselves of feudal rule to truly progress. Democracy should be about the people.

Wike is right about those governors. How come their senatorial candidates won and Tinubu lost the presidency for elections held the same day? They did not mobilise for the president.

Tinubu did not get 25% in Imo, but Governor Hope Uzodinma is the one opposing Rainbow coalition. They see candidates supported by Wike as threats to their interests. Wike literally made the PDP non-threatening for Tinubu and pushed out Atiku. Has Hope Uzodinma done for Tinubu what Wike has done for Tinubu?

Let them fight to deliver victory for Tinubu. Any governor who cannot deliver is someone who is a poor or underperforming governor. Wike is a good ally to have.

Wike delivered tinibu in rivers with very brutal crude means it's going to be impossible for any south east governor to use such crude methods to deliver their states for tinibu without massively killing their people in the process. The civilised thing for any governor to do is to allow the people vote their choice candidates and not trying to force any candidate on their people.
