Taiwo's head is very straight! He's a typical naija street-smart guy who knows where he's coming from and already planning for life after football.

Imagine having a bachelor's degree and PGD while he's still an active footballer. It just seem as if he's already equipped for life after retirement.......He's already put in place measures against anything that would make him go broke even when he stops playing active football.

The person u quoted is one of those who thinks Dangote's wealth leaves the Dangote family because he only birthed girls. That's what he's trying to tell you codedly.

He's talking from the viewpoint of "Traditional African man"

It is actually Otedola they should be asking this question. Because his daughters have zero involvement or interest in the business.

Well, most of Otedola's businesses do not really require hands-on management like Dangote's. Otedola mostly buys into already running companies as an investor. For example first bank, AP (Which he exited) , Geregu (which he also exited), Dangote refinery(which he just invested in), etc.

You will notice that almost all those companies have fully functional management running them before he bought into them. He just buys controlling shares in those companies and influence board decisions.

Dangote on the other hand is more of a builder sha. He needs his heirs to roll their sleeves and paddle the boat of the empire with him. Otedola's kids may just sit at the backseat and watch their father make the money. When it's their turn they cash-in on his investments depending on what he leaves each of them in his testament.
