I just wonder what will be going through his children's mind when they see daddy kneeling before Gbaja.
Hmm, men can do “anything”—I mean, anything—to feed their kids, even committing crimes. Talk less of kneeling for luxury.

It’s sad but that's the twist of life

Una dey mind them?

Men of his age, who kneel for their managers and directors in offices in order to keep their jobs, would come online throwing jabs at Desmond?

Even some ladies that keep their jobs by keeping illicit affairs with their bosses would condemn him.

Na person wey dem catch red-handed be thief.
May the good Lord bless you. I cherish your comment

I wasn't commenting directly on his humility or lack of it. I was making a light-hearted comment on his penchant for kneeling.

But to address your retort, kneeling or prostrating doesn't mean you actually respect the person. That's why there's a Yoruba saying that prostrating does not translate to decency. Also note that it's common for people like Mr Elliot to grovel and be apologetic to those above them and turn around to be arrogant and oppressive to those beneath them. You move in political circles, so I'm sure you know something about that.
For Desmond to have prostrated, he need something in exchange, whether that's humility or desperation, that's left to Desmond to decide.

Even though I don't like Nigerian politics or politicians, I don't see anything wrong with kneeling to apologise to your boss. It's not as if Gbaja is his junior in terms of age or political experience, so what's all the fuss about?

Israel is loyal to Davido, and that's why he benefits from the relationship. Sometimes in life, you need to let go of your pride to achieve something.

If I can kneel to greet or apologise to my parents, I can also do the same to people who are old enough to be my parents.

I bow to greet my supervisors when I arrive at the office because some of them have been working in the company since I was still wearing diapers. If I make a mistake and need to kneel to apologise, I will do so without hesitation.

Respect doesn't diminish your self-worth.

Who recorded this? From the number of people in the room and the angle, that person no fit deny am.

Let's pray for that man's safety in these trying times
And you think , Desmond or Gbaja don't know who recorded the video? There is no secret there.

Desmond Elliott deserves more than this ...he need to be dealt with. He is lucky that Gbaja really like him.
After the primary till date . Desmond Elliott is scared of walking freely in Surulere, due to some of his utterances prior to the primary and after .
So he made the right decision by begging his godfather, not for political post anymore, because he already finished politically in Surulere, but for his own safety.

The few months of fallout with his father, he has become bald headed, no more afro hair.

The fine boy glamours have all withered.

So for 3 terms as house honourable and possible nollywood loyalty, Desmond couldn't use his money wisely?

Maybe the kids will eventually understand that he's trying to hustle up their school fees...
So it's isn't about good governance or the masses votes, politicians are hustlers instead, hustlers who are hustling Naigeerians to fill their pockets.

What about your children school fees or the children's school fees of many struggling Naiggerians who have been put in poverty by these kinda hustling corrupt politicians? Did you know that he/they govan positively they would provide free school for many poor Naiggerian children including his own children

It is not difficult knowing this. Politicians refuse to build hospitals/schools because they can afford to go abroad for expensive treatments and send their own kids to study abroad with our money. While we suffer here.

All what igbo people said in the beginning about human is what the world are going back to,igbo people believe that all men are born equal no one is above the other, today all kings in Europe are now ceremonial kings unlike before when people see them as gods, today in Germany Italy France Austria there is nothing like king again, how can you respect a king who is a politician e.g oba akiolu of Lagos forcing you to vote for his candidate
