Women quarrel over food as men quarrel over drinks.
Do men quarrel over drinks? I have not seen before, except thugs setting. I know when can quarrel or fight over business transactions. When one is cheated. Person fit kpai sef.. or say land issues.. Na there you go see men. Any man who fight over drink is not a man,in my opinion

You see the way you are celebrating because you got your own share of food? Do you think others that didn't get will celebrate like you? You think a bride whose guests haven't gotten their own share of food like you will be happy?

A wedding I attended Saturday last week.
The bride and her elder sister got into shouting words over food sharing

Now me I humbly came to carry rice since we haven't eaten and I decided to go to the cooking area to do something before hunger kill me.

As I enter the mother of bride knows my mum so I greet her and she is happy to see me and ask about my mum
She said have I eaten I said no
U know how Igbo women are
She shouted to food caterers oya come and serve Oga food
I come dey feel like James bond.

Not to long the bride storms in and goes straight to the caterresa and starts shouting at them that her visitors haven't eaten BLA BLA Omo the elder sister told her to keep calm naso the bride face the elder sister next thing shouting begin
Almost lead to fight oo dem come dey calm the elder sis

Me I just carry my mountain of chicken and rice and. Japa before them use mistake push my plate fall.

But this got me thinking why is food always a point of quarrel and fights amongst women in occasions

I have never seen Men misbehave because of food in occasions

It's always women shouting and fighting because of food sharing im every occasions that I attended
You went there to receive your food and you are here asking why food is a point of quarrel?
Why didn't you genuinely leave the party at the end of the day without food since food is not an issue to you 😒

Na Ibo wedding. Na so them dey do.

Food is a big deal to them. Even on Nairaland, you see them asking if you have eaten whenever you are having political arguments with them.

That they have kids brains do not change their status as men (adult).

That a child reasons like an adult does not make him a man (adult).

Amongst the igbos be specific
Igbos are very protective of food

Unlike the northerners that will even be begging you to eat.

It's mostly due to being stressed out.

Her elder sister was supposed to calm her down, assuring her to handle things.
You're very sensible,
