Theflint1:Its expected for a rich man and his family to have luxury goods The problem here is this particular rich man has spent years selling us lamba of how he is prudent and doesnt take business class If Atikus Coscharis, Otedolla, Samad rabiu wife are seen with an expensive purse, many wont raise eyebrows cos its expected and they never told us different It was Obi without being asked that sold us the I have ne shirt lamba which is not being practised in his own household Basically rubbing sand on those who believed him and justifying those of us who knew he was an actor Peter Obis message as charity does not begin at his own home |

raumdeuter:Buhari did asset declaration before becoming president, he had less than 300K USD liquidity as at the time he was sworn in, how did someone with such "meager" networth become rich enough for his kids and family to live as lavishly as they started living? |

raumdeuter:He's not the first man to have a relatively simple look and expense profile while his family members would be helping him spend the money. That's a popular perception of the Igbo traderclass man, of which Peter Obi happens to be one. |

Theflint1:Those men do not go everywhere and claim to be prudent when they have an oriaku at home with the latest Range Rover. But Obi because he is a hypocrite was throwing shades at those who lived their wealth and showed their money on what they wear and use while his own wife was owning 250m in one purse Law even frowns at hypocrites. He who comes to justice must come with clean hands The bible called Pharissees(Hypocrites) a brood of vipers Koran says The worst of people is the double-faced one, who comes with one face to some and another to others" Its the hypocrisy of Obi who cant practice what he preaches in his own household is the issue |

raumdeuter:Peter Obi is not complaining, his wife spends his legitimately earned money, he was a big man before politics...go and verify. What was Tinubu's net worth before becoming governor, what businesses are ascribed to him, and how are members of his family able to afford to live the way they've done over the years? Please don't bring up that lamba of them still spending his salary as the Grand Treasurer General of Mobil ![]() After you're done with Tinubu, do for Buhari. |

Ed Sheeran is pro pally but that isn't enough to get him on their side ,lewis Hamilton is pro pally but because kim Kardashian have a business in the only Jewish country, that isn't enough to get them on their. Antisemitism is spirit engineered by Satan and as we near closer to Jesus return in Jerusalem it will get worse . God judgement is coming

Theflint1:He is not complaining, He is just a liar and a hypocrite. Tinubu at any time never claimed to be a poor man or a miser, Before poliitcs he was sponsoring NADECO. He used his money to "buy" AD ticket in 1999 just like Obi use his money to "buy" APGA ticket in 2003 The problem with Obi is that in an attempt to pretend to be "One of the common people" he goes overboard and tells unintelligent lies I have 5 shirts from Marks and Spencer, I only do economy flights, I used 1 watch for 17yrs etc. I have only 2 pairs of black shoes and each cost $50. These are childish lies I am sure no one on this thread had had 1watch for the past 10yrs never mind 17yrs, No one here has only 2 pairs of shoes, No one here has only 5 shirts and our networth added together is not 1% of Obis. So why the need to tell those type of lies, yet your wife is carrying a whole luxury home value as handbag https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlzNgQJd66s Above is Obi around 4:52 telling us he had only 2 shoes and 1 watch for the past 17yrs |

raumdeuter:Obi gives out over 1bn annually as gifts to institutions You will be foolhardy to think that his wife can't get a gift of 250m Prudence to Obi is different from prudence to you Tinubu stole bullion vans meant for Lagos so he took cam afford to get Remi a gift of 250m |

Spy360:Its not about whether he can afford it or not, He was the one who told us that he is prudent and doesnt spent on mundane things Why will someone with one wristwatch for 17yrs now buy a 250m luxury bag for his wife |

I got a message this evening purportedly from FRSC informing me about a pending speed limit violation ( see attached Pix 1) I clicked the link in the text message 99% sure it's a scam because the website domain name was obviously not .gov despite FRSC being a government agency. The link led me to a page where I was required to input my vehicle reg number to confirm traffic violation status. As expected, they claimed I violated speed limit. They provided fields for me to input card details so they can debit me for ₦3,000 which is the official fine for my offence. (See Pix 2 & 3 attached). I know this is definitely the handwork of some yahoo boys with coding skills trying to run local scam on unsuspecting Nigerians since e be like yahoo Don hard well well now. I also know for a fact that the ₦3,000 fine is not the main target of the scammers but whatever balance is on the ATM card of hundreds of people who would be unfortunate enough to fill in their card details on the fake FRSC payment portal. I say make I put this here to warn people who may not really be aware of this scam.

Theflint1:If you check well, Naija people wey dey protest against China na hypocrite dem be. There's nothing different with them and Xenophobic SA. Chinese made EV dey outsell Tesla for Europe by a wide margin. We can't compete at all. Na to align with them. This is simply Chinese century |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by GloriousGbola: 7:59pm On Sep 16 |
BlueRayDick:Also do you have a commercial car that will require a speed limiter ? Frsc does not have database of phone numbers. The speed limiter is designed to limit a vehicles speed, not report on it and they are local only. Where will Frsc get money for online speed tracking? https://speedlimiter.frsc.gov.ng/ |

Spy360:If your state has an outstanding debt from DMO that's say 2.3 Billion, yet in the bank and other forms of savings leave money that would pay that debt times over, you left the state debt free. Neutrals always want to create non-issues. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by OkpaNsukkaisBae(m): 8:07pm On Sep 16 |
Amoto94:Nothing to be afraid of. China will come with healthy competition, I no sabi economics but our teacher that year dey always say that the prices of goods is determined by market forces. China is coming to flood the market with cheap & reliable goods, deliver directly to the final consumers if possible. Seeing how dey crashed the price of smart phones in Africa, crashed the price of EV in Europe. U should support them |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 8:20pm On Sep 16 |
GloriousGbola:Well, I know Lagos VIS actually use camera to catch people who violate speed limits on Lagos road, but I don't know for fact if FRSC has the same technology |

izzou:If joy go overflow for buyers/masses/consumers so why those traders dey protest? Time wey dem dey use protest, dem suppose use think on how to work & partner with the Chinese. Any reasonable government will welcome investment that will provide basic needs /social amenities to the people at a cheaper rate |

So the loan listed by the Anambra State Government is a loan collected by the FG, and distributed to all the 36 states Also the FG deducts the loan from their FAAC over a period of 40 years? cc: CrystalTiger? Na the loan be this? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 9:18pm On Sep 16 |
Amoto94:So the person that went to China to import is a local trader, but the Chinese is a foreign competitor? Are you aware that the Chinese man can also sit in China, and still use Nigerians to sell the same thing at ridiculous rates. So will it be local trade then, or foreign competition? |

For the record, Peter Obi did leave debt at Anambra but also left very healthy Working Capital that covered the debt His claim of leaving Anambra debt free is just an uninformed way of saying he left a positive Working Capital to long term liabilities ratio. Soludo has an axe to grind and has added interest compounding over the years and foreign exchange drift to the principle Obi borrowed to land at a figure that tarnishes his reputation This is the truth of the matter: Obi left N9 billion in cash and N25.6bln in investments less N15bln in short term liabilities to contractors. This has been verified from several sources and in detail. Therefore Net Current Assets = N9bln + N25.6bln - N15bln = N20.6 bln In long term liabilities, he left N3bln in domestic debt and the equivalent of N4.5bln in external debt, Therefore Long Term liabilities = N7 5bln Net Current Assets therefore covered Long term liabilities by a factor of almost 3 to 1. This is called the Working Capital to long term liabilities ratio If are familiar with the concept of Free Reserves in non-profits, you can take the Net Current Assets of N20.6bln minus the N7.5bln long term debt and be left with N13.1 bln as free reserves, assuming all reserves are unrestricted. That means if Obiano immediately liquidated all near-cash instruments that Obi left him and immediately paid all contractors and paid off long term debt, he would have been left with N13.1 bln spare cash. |
