I dey tell u

Everybody get limit, my own don reach abeg, it's more like working/driving for free

I drove for about 10 mins to pick one foolish guy for okota yesterday, I got to his location, he said he will be out shortly

The destination was somewhere around fola agoro, after waiting for him for about 15 mins he sent msg "do you have AC"

I did not respond, rather I tried to call him both in app & mobile, the guy man did not pick, probably blocked my number

see the entitlement o

imagine ordering a ride and making the driver wait for >15 mins (not including travel time to pickup point o). I just cancel jeje and drove off

on top all this, the cost of fuel

God help all of us abeg, undecided

Bolt is a wrong app to use now, if you no sabi use Indrive for strategic places you will barely see fuel money. Just do CNG if you can afford it.

Bolt is a very useless app, sacrificing Drivers for riders satisfaction. Me i don leave dem, i only use them once in a while

Until Nigerians get rid of the survival mentality which conditions us to automatically operate on survival mode instead of a sane and enabling environment that gives every Nigerian the opportunity to succeed, then we are truly not ready.

Even the gas you are using, very soon u will be struggling to make profit. U guys should continue adjusting. The 1m u used to fix it, u have not made it back yet. So u are now bearing the cost of subsidizing ehailing transport fares as though u are the govt or ehailing coy.
Maybe we will soon start using d tech that will allow us use water to run d car. Since we prefer to adjust than resist.

Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nelochukwu: 10:26am On Sep 17
Anyone who installed cng can afford to pick anything honestly and sadly I believe mostly cng drivers are d ones picking this ridiculous prices cause forget u will make it

I don't even want to start discussing here cause some believe they know it all. Just imagine asking if uve made d cng in more than 4months u didn't even ask in 1 months be there and assume u r d only useful driver in the whole of e hailing grin.

Men wey install 65L made it back in weeks u dey talk months even me wey be lazy driver I know how long before I save am back.

Another sad truth is with cng u can actually still survive cause imagine making almost times 6 on basic trips I mean trips of 300naira/km. So unless u are not a serious driver u will be fine esp if u r driving for survival. Just mute ur soul and be picking all manner of rubbish grin but u go see money with cng only oooo...

Some people ehhh u go just dey make confident asertions haba. It is well oo
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nelochukwu: 10:29am On Sep 17
For me honestly my conscience will not allow me. And honestly after some years doing this ave also grown to where Im not driving for survival but the sad truth is.....anyone who is driving for survival and installs cng will profit and promote this madness we are complaining about.

Iz like some don't understand the importance of reducing costs of production if I say person na driver naw Dem go begin whine like woman.

Abeg read books and free ur mind to learn no be everything be steering wheels

this is our undoing

we are not yet ready. It takes the human mind a lot to comprehend this

the app coys know this so they keep pushing rubbish

Bro I use cng and I'm telling you that anyone using it can afford to pick trips of 250-300naira/km and still be very very profitable and save money for maintenance.

U think reduction in cost of production is beans grin

That's what d app companies know
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nelochukwu: 10:38am On Sep 17
So now u r asking me if ave saved 1m from cng since I installed.

Always measuring grin

Just know whatever u have saved in the same time frame multiply by 3 is what d average cng user will save with same effort and energy.

Get financial books my friend and be enlightened grin

Unless u didn't save ooo. Me sef I didn't save grin
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nelochukwu: 10:49am On Sep 17
Some thing is better than you means iz better than you.

No need to argue against the truth. No need to make cng bad. It's here to stay.

Na driver ls be d problem and apps like Indrive knows iz

I wont be surprised soon bolt will start negotiating fares.

Can't blames drivers sha. Imagine u get loan to install cng and knowing the calculations/profitability u must pick work daily ooo regardless of fair price or not cause u will actually make money.

Infact a man using cng on useless bolt basic doesn't even need to select trips cause no matter as e be he will make profits even well more far beyond and above d man using fuel

Even with ridiculous prices, there are drivers who make 100K plus daily with CNG. Me wey dey use fuel sef dey see 35K after fuel & commission if i take my normal 4-6 trips daily. Jist saving up for CNG, i no fit stress because nigerians have never been united to fight a common problem.

Any driver using CNG on this thread that can show me he makes 100k after gas and commission daily?
U guys know I no dey for chochocho. I will buy a cheap car and install CNG next week.
When I advocate for d business I show evidence. That time many people said it was photoshop.

Secondly, I am not arguing if CNG makes more money than fuel, thats a no-brainer, my point is as a people, we rather adjust than resist. The continuous nose diving of the prices will eventually make even CNG users to start complaining very soon.

Baba i made 34K after Fuel & App commission yesterday, during uber days i dey make 50-70K.

I would have snapped my app earnings but i'm currently on a Paid waiting trip

I drive a 2009 Toyota Matrix

Mind you the refuel is with personal waka from mechanic and other short short waka.

How much Gas will i use to waka same 141 Miles of driving? Maybe 10K? So this thing is achievable.

I no dey target 100K daily, but i want to go back to my usual 50-80K daily earnings.

Went to ogbomoso yesterday but didn’t drive there and just got back to Ibadan and I ordered a ride to where I parked and the driver said they don’t pay commission in Ibadan to inDrive. I was shocked.

You’re not being realistic, to net 100k with CNG in a day, what will be the capacity of the cylinder and can full gas of the cylinder net you 100k. If not, how do you get to refill without wasting time to resume work.

Heard 5k CNG gas can gross you about 40k and 5k CNG gas is what fill up 65l cylinder so, let’s assume you’re using 100l cylinder to fill 100l will be less than 10k and 10k gas can only gross you 80k so make it make sense how can someone net 100k with CNG in a day and fill gas twice in a day.

Baba, we work more than each other. For where i dey cherry-pick 15K plus trip pesin don run 2 or more trips. While they start as early as 4-5am. I no need talk too much, most people know where dem dey catch the rides wey go quick Gross/net their daily target. Its not about driving about lagos daily.

If dem tell u say people wey get 2 cylinders for boot dey e go be like say na mouth. Met a guy one time, he didnt believe that i make 60K daily after fuel until i showed him my app and calculations.

I dont even like CNG sef from my little knowledge about the stuff. But i'm willing to learn & make research

About this ride fares and anything regarding ehailing, we all know there is no change soon. There is no regulated labour law to even start with. We have minimum wage 80K yet people still earn below it by far margin. Its a capitalism economy where if you dont improve/evolve you will be left behind. There is no price control, as you know there is no price control on House rent, Electronics, Goods & services etc. Why are there recent protest against chinese crashing retail prices? As a consumer(rider) or service provider(driver) you will always support the side that favours you, thats the first character of a nigerian.
