I already got a reply from Gtb regarding the Swift code. I also have an existing dollar Mastercard account linked to my Trading212 account and have been verified by them, but i am seeing a limit of 343.40 on it which is why Trading212 app is asking me to add a bank account with same name as I am withdrawing more than the limit.

And please can you confirm how much was deducted from your cash balance as transfer charges if any?

They are good. Withdrawal takes 3 days, very efficient. What I love again about them is security consciousness. The service efficiency level on deposits and withdrawals is just as if you are dealing with a Stockbroker in Nigeria (only the 3 days time for processing the withdrawal is the difference), for deposit it is possible same day, you deposit money early in the day, send them copy or your teller ot transfer instruction and you can trade that same day (they will acknowledge the fact that your deposit is seen but is not finalised)

I don’t think Bank Wire Transfer will make sense either as i once enquired and it was very high.
I also observed that i didn’t see a live price movement of stocks price on their app. Besides, it is written on their app that the price displayed is about 15mins delayed.

So for these above reasons, it’s a Capital NO for me.

I am now more than anything considering getting a Residence Permit of another country. The stain of being a Nigerian is just too many and becoming unbearable for someone to sit down and do nothing.

By the way, today, I have received my funds into my Gtb accounts. My Dom current ac was charged 0.30% of withdrawal amount, but my Dom account number for my Mastercard was zero charges for my Withdrawal amount.

I just opened my APP again to check the 15minutes delay you talk about. If you read the "English" it says "might be", so it is not all the time that there would be delay.

The note is just to avoid complaints if for any reason the order is delayed. However, I can bet that orders are executed instantly.

In terms of delays in prices or order not executed in time. I only experienced that in one of the local platforms, this is the reason why people like me avoid the local platforms. My experience with Vest has been fantastic, my other option was "tradezero" an equally good platform that even allow margin trading, but no fractionalisation (if you want to buy any stock, you buy a minimum of 1 unit) and only wire transfers are acceptable.for both deposits and withdrawals

US MARKET COMMENTS, WHERE IS THE MONEY?
Somehow, determining which one I prefer, between the NIGERIA market and US market will be a difficult task.

Looking at transparency, I will prefer the US market especially when it come to oil stocks. The only issue is that chasing oil stocks has become old school investing!!! The best sector now is technology.

This is one of the stocks we are looking at currently!!! Note that we cannot assume we will buy a stock and hold it forever. Better to buy what is in leading sector at a particular point in time and get out (temporarily) when the sector is out of favour. Know this an have peace of mind.

The fact that Nigeria stocks don't move in sectors is what I don't like about the market. It is like each stock is a standalone stock, it is only when a sector is in trouble that sector analysis works (looks funny).

In fact my portfolio has been liquidated and the money is sitting in my wallet now.
I did not initiate any of the transactions.

check your mail, you must have been notified about closure on Invest account for Nigerian resident and after some grace period your position are automatically closed.

Right now you are on withdrawal only mode.
