| Re: Results Of Today's Bye Election In Various States by Akpakomiza2: 9:33pm On Sep 19 |
Cc svoboda and aminda. Nigerians still prefer APC |
| Re: Results Of Today's Bye Election In Various States by AMINDA: 9:38pm On Sep 19 |
Akpakomiza2:Maybe some still do because politics is local, but it's a whole different kettle of fish with Tinubu on the ballot. Nigerians are determined to vote for anyone but Tinubu. Tinubu is more unpopular than the APC as of today. He doesn't seem to realise it. That's why he blames Hope, Umahi, Sanwo-olu, Orji Uzor Kalu, etc, for winning their own elections without delivering him. The same will happen in 2027, but at a worse scale. |
| Re: Results Of Today's Bye Election In Various States by Akpakomiza2: 9:46pm On Sep 19 |
AMINDA:You obviously do not understand elections. Is it not same Nigerians that voted against APC in osun polls? Better keep silent and accept your L |

| Re: Results Of Today's Bye Election In Various States by Svoboda(m): 8:05am On Sep 20 |
Akpakomiza2:I've said severally that you don't use this as a yardstick. This is an election adc largely boycotted and does not necessarily imply an acceptance of Tinubu and rejection of Atiku. |
| Re: Results Of Today's Bye Election In Various States by Parachoko: 8:09am On Sep 20 |

| Re: Results Of Today's Bye Election In Various States by Svoboda(m): 11:13am On Sep 20 |
Akpakomiza2:I am surprised that you are excited over shoa by-elections results when you know they're just a hairs breath away from lga elections governors largely control. How much more when they're off cycle. Does it now mean that if apga wins a hoa by-election in Anambra, that Obi will automatically lose Anambra? |
| Re: Results Of Today's Bye Election In Various States by Akpakomiza2: 12:09pm On Sep 20 |
Svoboda:The only elections that cannot be used as a gauge is LGA elections except the ones that are conducted with electronic system like El rufai and lalong did. But apart from that, LGA elections are fully controlled by governors. No inec conducted election is totally controlled by the governor. Thank goodness you said largely controlled not fully. We are talking about 2027 elections and only elections are the best barometers to gauge the directions not social media noise, defections or any happening that cannot be correlated to polls.... Now we where not talking about obi or anambra. Anambra is peculiar, they have a unique voting pattern which we all know. Obi will sweep anambra, it is a give .but you also know that Each state and region have different voting patterns. South east voters esp in presidential polls are not influenced by the governors except Imo to a partial extent. But in most northern states including Kano, Bauchi, Gombe and many southern states like Delta, a governor and some top political bigwigs have a large influence in the presidential elections. Even if they can't get victory for their candidates, they can still influence significant votes. Two elections held in Bauchi. The governor's party won one and APC won the next. For APC to defeat the governor party clearly shows they are formidable going by your words. The reality is very glaring. This is a Bauchi that APC is supposedly divided and hit by defections. I don't know what stopped ADC or NDC from winning or taking second at least. Any state that tinubu loses, he will definitely compete well |
| Re: Results Of Today's Bye Election In Various States by WhizdomXX(m): 11:08am On Sep 21 |
Akpakomiza2:Please remove Delta from your list. Okowa the governor struggled with everything to meet 25% as a VP candidate, what do you think will happen now? |
| Re: Results Of Today's Bye Election In Various States by Akpakomiza2: 11:10am On Sep 21 |
WhizdomXX:They will still produce 25% or more. Add Tinubu and Atiku's votes together |
| Re: Results Of Today's Bye Election In Various States by WhizdomXX(m): 11:17am On Sep 21 |
Akpakomiza2:Lol, Tinubu's votes that came from Ughelli north? or is it the ones that came from Ogidigben. |
