The only criteria for going to heaven is Salvation. If one is not born again and does not receive the holy spirit, he has no recognition by God as far as the Christian doctrine is concerned.

So far, the population of the world is 8 billion. The world has existed for 20 centuries and may still exist for another 5000 years. If you multiple 8 billion people in each generation by 105, it's assumed that around 840 billion or more people will exist on this planet.

Out of this population, only about 0.5 percent or less will receive salvation. So let's assume that the people who received salvation from when the world started till it ended are 10 million people, are we trying to say that the remaining billions will burn in hell?

I think you should ask yourself why will that number of people will still still choose to go to hell fire. God has opened the gate of heaven for everyone to enter but some people have refused to enter. Their prefer going to hell.

Buddha, YHWH, the gods of the Greek pantheon, Krishna, Orunmila, the Norse gods, etc., are local in the sense that their rule is over people of a specific tribe or nation, usually a part of their name. So, far, the only deity to date that plans such a feat is the Allah of Islam whose major intention is to use the Christians and the Jews as a ransom for every Islamic from his hell. All other deities are local or at least specific about the particular tribe of people to which their law/rules are enforced upon. It becomes important to ensure you have the identity of the deity you refer to to get answers that would apply. 🤔

Human's upgrade is still a work-in-progress - we are yet to attain perfection.
Hell is the junkyard where the defective, worn-out and obsolete body parts goes to.
The energy source that powers this bodies are immortal and recyclable.

Did Satan tell you he need forgiveness? You are not entitled to God's forgiveness, God is just for throwing you or anyone else who has sinned against him into hell. God offering forgiveness is on his own compassion and only those who come to him in repentance can recieve forgiveness of Sin.
