How do you move money when in Austria?

Say I just landed, I Dont have a bank account yet. How do I pay for things?

Also when I eventually settle in and get a bank account, is it wise to leave my money in my Nigerian bank and spend with Euro card given to me by said bank. Or it’s better to move all the money to the Austrian bank and spend from there, seeing as I’ll be there for a minimum of 2 years because of masters?
I’m talking at least 50M naira.

Pls does Austria still allow spouse to accompany student going for studies same time?. We have done Legalization and IELTS. I just want to know before we proceed. Cos I heard they don't allow spouse to accompany student same time.
