On Anambra Water Corporation

Mr Peter Obi paid all arrears of pensions and gratuities owed to Anambra retirees. He did not pay those of the Water Corporation, and he gave his reasons. Apart from the instrument establishing the Corporation, which required it to generate income, the Corporation was moribund even before he became Governor. He held several meetings with them, requesting that they bring him a blueprint for its revival, but they did nothing.

Curiously, in 2014, Governor Willie Obiano, in a paid advertisement and in news publications, said that his government had paid them.

Now, I am surprised that the issue of non-payment is coming up again. I think that, at this point, a panel of inquiry should be set up to determine the truth. Are we sure these people are not being used for some other business? This is conjectural, of course.

Even those who published reports of the payment by Obiano are now the ones saying that they are still owed. We need to get to the heart of the matter.[

But same Peter Obi was packaging budgets throughout his 8ys to include funding the water board and it's staff salaries and emoluments .

So where did the approved money for the water works go to since obi did not invest in capital projects and in paying staff salaries.

That means the entire Anambra did not have a functioning water board throughout the 8ys of Peter Obi and same Peter Obi was drawing funds for same Water Board and not paying the staff or investing in the entire operations .

And this one is telling us Willie Obiano settled the staff and pensioners and saying he doesn't know why the matter is being brought up after Obiano cleared the salaries and pensions of the staff.

You see how wicked and evil those supporting Obi are.

Just imagine this evil heartless wicked man is the President and is surrounded by his equally heartless supporters and cronies.

Obi is a failure in all ramifications. A parastatal is not functioning well yet you retained it. You can't restructure. Obi can never be a good leader

Are they the one to do this or the government supposed bring in external investors to revamp it or work a model with his commissioner to see it through. Na wa o. I am sure that commissioner for water resources got his full benefits and salaries when he was there. Let's call a spade a spade, when you are wrong in some areas, admit. The way they are packaging this man or painting him, he remains small they add "saint" to the back of his name, to make him Saint Obi. A man who has never sinned in his entire life.
