SS1 Student Of Oranyan Grammar School, Oyo Attempts To Use Best Friend For Money Ritual

An unsettling incident has reportedly occurred at Oranyan Grammar School, Oyo, where two SS1 students allegedly went into the bush together for a so-called "spiritual bath" linked to money ritual.

According to accounts, one of the students turned against his friend, attempting to sever his neck and head for ritual purposes. Fortunately, the victim fought back and escaped after a serious struggle. The other student is said to be at large.

This raises serious questions for all of us:

· If a secondary school student already knows how money ritual is made, what does that say about our society?
· What is the implication for our communities and the future of our children?
· Will teachers, family members, classmates, and neighbours not be at risk?
· What can communities and government do about this daily occurrence?
· What can stop this satanic trend going on in Nigeria?

We urge parents, teachers, religious leaders, and the authorities to wake up. Our children are no longer safe — not even from their own friends. The time to act is now.
