Spy360:Yes and the NSDSC officers have been arrested. Unlike in Anambra where people die and the story ends there No one is taking a photo shoot to 'feel the pain' of the late miners. Better bury your head in the sand as the next wave of exposes of the callous incompetence of saint obi the wicked are laid bare. |

GloriousGbola:Arresting NSCDC is not the issue. The issue is why those guys have to die because someone is protecting someone in power |

Anambra and Kogi, two states with two contrasting definitions of loyalty and Governance. In Anambra, the successor is dragging his predecessor to account for every naira spent during his tenure. In Kogi, the story is the direct opposite: the successor insists no kobo is missing under his predecessor, and has even gone as far as publicly pleading with him to join the Senate, begging people to beg him, organized sham recall so the political marriage can continue. The irony is painful and draining : in one state, succession means probe; in the other, succession means protection. One is fighting to recover the past, the other is begging to preserve it. And in both cases, the ordinary people are left watching a drama where accountability is optional. I wish....... I can only wish |

GloriousGbola: ![]() .....compassion and Obi in the same sentence? Person wey dey pay ₦10 to the state firefighters as hazard allowance. Thanks to Willie Obiano that increased it from ₦10 to ₦20,000. Mr. Ezenwanne revealed that the Obiano administration has reviewed the monthly hazard allowance for fire fighters in the state from N10 to N20,000 with periodic trainings and opportunities for capacity building. |

OasisX:Obi was sworn in on March 2006 The letter was written in April 2006 ![]() I would strongly advise APC to just focus on what Tinubu has done, and leave this man alone The more you guys recycle the same thing, the more it proves he actually is what he says |

reccy:I think we are in interesting times. Never have we seen any past government being stripped down the way we have seen this one. I'm enjoying the show. Hopefully this gives other Nigerians the courage to probe their public servants |

OasisX:I don't know if he paid them. People have said that with what he left behind, it should pay them This is also the same Anambra State governor, One year after he resumed office, confirming that he has finally paid them. So which debt is Soludo still paying? Like I said, the more you press this matter, the more we see sense with Obi

If a Nigerian politician's political baggage is that he owed Water Corporation workers 13 years ago, then maybe small hope dey for our political class Not that he put his inlaws in power Not that he stuffed dollars inside Babariga Not that he claimed 23 cars after leaving office The only offence is that he didn't pay Water Corporation workers 13 years ago. There is hope! |

OasisX:This letter was written a month into the tenure of Peter Obi, and he was already owing arrears ![]() You'd see in part (i) of the letter, the Chief of Staff was pleading with Peter Obi to appeal to the president to clear the outstanding salaries, meaning that most likely, the water board staffs were staffs of the federal government at some point, and had a chunk of those arrears owed them by the FG, not Anambra State, and certainly not Peter Obi who was just a month in. ...this was further highlighted by the Chief of Staff's use of "subvention", implying Peter Obi takes on salary payment that was not originally/truly the state's responsibility to bear. If the water board staffs and their arrears weren't exactly Anambra State's government responsibility, it can be said that the promise Peter Obi made in (iii) was not broken. I might be wrong, but that's my assessment of the letter. Also, I know Edo State Water board staffs were owed salaries back then too, odds are at some point there was a transfer of water board administration from FG to State, and with it came liabilities like salary arrears...add that they functioned as a parastatal that collected salaries while not being able to perform their job, easy to see why they got handled by states in the manner they were (not saying it's their fault tho). And I heard Peter Obi tried reaching a settlement with them on their arrears, but they found his offer unacceptable and sued the state. |

izzou:.....Let’s take it one at a time. He didn't pay them, that’s the verified truth. The attached is snapped from PM News bruh. Sadly Uncle Pius Mwabugwu lost his life due the wickdness. May his Soul rest well.

Temporaryhansel, I see why you expressed disappointment at Gloriousgbola turning full APC bangerboy...normally he shouldn't be lapping up Oasis's halfbaked propaganda pieces, but see him doing just that, refusing to do the due diligence that was often associated with him...SMH. |

Theflint1: ![]() ...see lengthy note. Are you a Lawyer?! LOL! Did he later pay them or not?! That’s the koko. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 11:48am On Sep 22 |
OasisX:Okay. He didn't pay them In 2014, one year after Obiano came on, he paid them So what exactly is the issue here? And why is Soludo trying to scam that debt into Anambra's purse? These are the questions you should be asking. |

izzou:You dont know that Oasix na big Olodo. propaganda merchant. He just lift and post. I was expecting him to post something we never hear before..but na the same stories...many which the back stories are known. Even in that letter, the writer ended it with " so you can forge ahead qith the GOOD work you are doing". |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by OasisX: 11:56am On Sep 22 |
izzou: ![]() .....both him and Obiano actually left debt behind bruh. This is what DMO recorded for Anambra under Peter Obi as at 31-12-2013 Domestic debt = ₦3,025,797,046.67 External debt = $30,323,574.40 Combined =₦3.026bn + $30.324m For Obiano, here is the record as well; Domestic debt = ₦55.72 billion External debt = $110.27 million No Scam detected bruh. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 11:58am On Sep 22 |
Emaprince:Everything we see now are just regurgitations. Law Mefor, Commissioner for Information went to Arise TV to embarrass himself. Said Obi $123 million. Rufai showed him DMO's record showing that Obi only drew $30 million, and his handover funds could repay it The same Law Mefor said he would go back and work on the figures Imagine a whole Commissioner for Information not being updated on the memo he sent |

Emaprince: ![]() .....I heard you bruh, but did he clear the salaries or not? Oops! Did he even pay them at all?! |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 12:01pm On Sep 22 |
OasisX:Maybe you were not here when even our neutral accountant, Ib.ime gave his professional opinion He said what Obi left behind was enough to clear what he owed. That has not been disputed. Secondly, I don't know why you are showing me Obiano's debt. I have asked you why Soludo is saying that Water Corporation has not been paid till today, when they have been paid since 2014. Obiano cleared that debt. So why is Soludo paying it in 2026? |
