If my people were lined up and massacred for identifying as being part of a group as happened during the Asaba Massacre, I and my descendants will also claim not to be part of that group. It's a survival strategy and it's difficult to get over something as horrendous as that type of event.

It's a great honor to be an igbo man....When you see the miserable lives some Lagos acclaimed indeges live, you can't imagine what those in the villages go through, these are level of hardship that have been eradicated in the South East many years ago.......how can you be a family of 6 in one room in your father's house because you want to collect rent?
