The presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, has appointed Senator Augustine Okwudiri Akobundu as Director-General of the party’s Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement, Phrank Shaibu, Director of Strategic Communication of the ADC Presidential Campaign Council, said on Thursday that Akobundu’s responsibilities would include coordinating the party’s campaign structures across the country.

Akobundu, a retired Colonel of the Nigerian Army, former Minister of State for Defence and serving senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District, is expected to coordinate the political and operational activities of the campaign.

According to the statement, the campaign council will be chaired by Kashim Ibrahim-Imam, while former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, will serve as Deputy Chairman.

Truer words have never been spoken! In two months time, it will be clear to all and sundry when the momentum that Atiku is building becomes undeniable and visible to the blind. The ADC's logo is a handshake. A true handshake across the Niger. The alliance between the North and the Southeast will materialise before the 2027 elections.

H.E Atiku Abubakar is the next President of Nigeria.

Atiku has national colouration everywhere.

He seems to be outpacing the irabiji born druqqie who found a lucrative drug market in France.

Meanwhile, Makinde and Obi are making his gang of criminals angry with their stubborn efforts to run

Dead on arrival

Bother about your Tinubu's chances in his backyard in the Southwest first. Tinubu may be more unpopular in the Southwest than he is in other regions currently.

Atiku has more to worry in NE. All the bigwigs in NE are in APC. All parties rent people for campaign crowd. If you don't know this, you have absolutely no business in politics
