…Wike, Makinde, Ekwerenmadu, others make final list

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has released a list of members of its Presidential Campaign Council.

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel was named the Director General of the Atiku Abubakar Campaign which has Governors Bala Mohammed and Seyi Makinde of Bauchi and Oyo States as Vice Chairmen, North and South respectively.

The campaign body also named Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwual as Director General of the National Campaign Management Committee.

This committee has four directorates headed by Deputy Directors General. They are: Sen. Liyel Imoke (Opperations), Prof. Adewale Oladipo (Admin), Raymond Dokpesi (Technical and Systems) and Okwesileze Nwodo (Research and Strategy).

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike whose name appeared as number 13 on the list, was named along with most of his associates as a member.

The list consists of the names of former Vice President Namadi Sambo, serving as well as former State Governors of the party, former Ministers, all former Senate Presidents of the party who are still members of the PDP, members of the Board of Trustees among otters.

Former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekwerenmadu also made the list . Former National Chairmen of the party, Vincent Ogbulafor and Ahmadu Ali were also named as members.

Others whose name made the list included: former Army Chiefs, Generals Ishaya Bamaiyi, Martin Luther Agwai and Keneth Minima.

Curiously however, the name of former President GoodLuck Jonathan was not

sighted on the long list. The former President has avoided most of the party’s events since leaving office in 2015.

Udom deserve it

Hmmmm..... I don't know what's giving Atiku so much confidence on wining this election without wike and other aggrieved stakeholders from the south. Same confidence GEJ was basking on when he refused to make peace within the party, he went into that election and lost woefully. Atiku is not even a credible candidate that can amass supporters to himself like buhari without the party, it's only PDP that's carrying Atiku at this moment.

Strategic. I don't see Saraki tho. Many people supporting pdp today because of their old love for Fmr. President Jonathan seem to forget that Atiku Abubakar was one of the first people that fled pdp when the tough times (ApC) came.

Truly he even deserves more than that fake vp candidate. He contested openly in the primaries instead of going through the usual betrayal and backstabbing route of Nigerian politics. He kept calm after his loss and went to his State to continue his development projects. Conclusion; Nigeria needs a political reset. One man alone cannot do it. Make Nigeria Great Again, LP 2023.

Saraki is among the former Senate Presidents that are listed as members of the Council.

including his name in the list doesn't mean he will accept it, and it doesn't mean that he's still not aggrieved. Wike and his team are still very much aggrieved, watch them come out and distance themselves from this list, then you will know what's up.

HE Atiku is truly in a difficult place in his party.
HE Udom's choice is not similar to his choice of HE Okowa.
Most of those folks in HE Wike's camp will not work for him unless Sen Ayu fulfils his word to step down once a northerner emerges as PDP's flagbearer

Atiku has planned to fail already.

Wash, although the North are rallying along Atiku because they North don't want to relinquish power to the South in other to fulfill the prophecy which they don't know.

Obaseki is already in LP, only Okowa/Atiku is still keeping him in the PDP. If they settle with Wike today, he is gone. Diri is in his first term (in Peruzzi's voice, I no want wahala oooooo).

Money will flow.

How many did they shoulder for him 3 years ago. The man was lured and seriously 'looted' in 2019, because he was so assured of winning.

The SS is the only place for him to go. He is going to be fighting a Tinubu with serious war-chest hence he needs the money. Don't be surprised Ayu will go before the end of the year because he won't want to miss that Rivers money.
