This thing happens to artists as well. There are many artists who abandoned their naija fans because they wanted to go international, las las when the international cast, they try to get back the Nigerian audience, but by then the ship has already sailed. Too many to count. Only few have been able to balance it. You can chase your foreign audience without alienating your naija homebase fans. Davido pulled it off. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 2:47pm On Sep 25 |
Theflint1:I think BB Naija falloff is due to not just one factor sha. There's the massive drop in the number of DSTV customers; most people have packed up their DSTV and GOTV decoders because of incessant hike in subscription fees with no service improvement. In the past I used to be one of those customers who would lament about DSTV signal during rainfall. However, with the advent of unlimited internet packages like MTN fiber X, Airtel ODU, Starlink, etc, some of those customers like me sought alternative in streaming sites, Android TV, Fire Stick and other alternatives to DSTV where we get premium entertainment value without rewarding multichoice for poor service offering. The hardship in Nigeria sef is another factor. Some people who would struggle to do GOTV/DSTV sub and fuel their generator to watch BB Naija in the past have decided to channel their resources to more pressing needs. Person wey dey belle dey turn no go think of BB Naija. They will just buy data and follow BB Naija on TikTok and IG. |

TemporaryHansel:DBanj is the number one poster boy for this when he moved to Kanye's GOOD music label in 2011. That was like beginning of the end for him. |

BlueRayDick:Yeah. Even wizkid sef, since his international push, which I can't say was a success or failure, he has been struggling to get back his naija audience. But me I know that ship has sailed. He was the undisputed no 1 artist in naija until he went international and alienated his naija homebase. Most of them keep making the same mistake, but some of them are wise. Asake has gone international but didn't alienate his homebase fans. Davido too pulled it off. |

Segedinho:I didn’t quote you to poach a certain reaction from you as I know that you are an Obidient and the type programmed not to see anything wrong in Obi’s statements or actions. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 3:42pm On Sep 25 |
chrisooblog:Nothing to see here; Umahi has managed to use the Okoro guy's company as SPV to set himself off for life after office. The ones he stole as Eboyin governor was not enough, he had to do much more as Minister of works. If Umahi fit don steal this much as Minister for works within 3 years, only God knows how much Wike has stolen in that Abuja where he's not only awarding contracts worth billions, but also allocating lands as he pleases without much supervision. By the time this people are done with this country ehn....... Then somebody will come here to say Universities must increase their fees to N1m to free more funds for FG projects, Electricity subsidy must be removed to make more funds available for government....and other sort of nonsense that . ![]() Some people will this BusinessDay report finish and na "Obi is a fraud", "Obi is a packaged scam", "Obi can never be president" go be their conclusion. ![]() |

https://www.nairaland.com/8754721/thugs-mob-henry-onyekuru-cybertruck Agbero asking 5m from Henry Onyekuru just because he came to watch ball in onikan. We are getting there, see entitlement just see |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by TemporaryHansel(m): 3:52pm On Sep 25 |
BlueRayDick:Is the minister of works portfolio not more lucrative? As minister of works, umahi is currently supervising projects worth over 15 trillion naira across the whole country. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 3:59pm On Sep 25 |
TemporaryHansel:Well, It depends on the the kleptomanic tendency of the persons occupying the posts. Wike can steal more if he turns allocation and approval of land title in FCT to "allocation & approval goes to highest bidder ". And I suspect he's doing that already. Shebi he was outted earlier in the year by people's Gazette that he allocated hectres of land to his sons and relatives. Also don't forget that the 15 trillion coastal road project was awarded to Tinubu's guy Chagoury. That one na oga project, he won't really see bread on top that one |

Joshua/Fury. Finally. December 11 @nihilistjnr I no see why you no go dey there live I'd pick Fury just because I have no faith in AJ's chin and I don't think AJ has enough power to put away Fury. I hope I'm proven wrong but I doubt it |

iamoyindamola:Going to Onikan with Cybertruck without goons on deck behind you. When you no be Mc Oluomo? In present Lagos for that matter Some things is just lack of self preservation skills |

I told y’all that some young men no send at all. Otherwise, how on earth is a 29 year old wealthy dude marrying a 42year old woman. The woman obviously doesn’t care about the 13-yr age gap because he has a lot of money 😂 https://cbs4local.com/news/nation-world/ex-doj-attorney-alina-habba-to-marry-turkish-billionaire-report-us-attorney-recep-erdogan-white-house-correspondents-dinner-kennedy-center-president-trump |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by GloriousGbola: 5:23pm On Sep 25 |
iamoyindamola:when people are posting ai videos where they are driving '9 billion bugatti' and carrying cash to throw at people who hail them, what do you expect to happen? for all intents and purposes it is a nigerian fantasy, to be driving in an billion naira ride and throwing cash at people while they sing your praises it starts with those who hail for money and graduates to those who threaten for it. A40:the sole purpose of driving a cybertruck in nigeria is to flex. nothing more. there are far more practical EVs out there that will not draw attention. if you want to flex with a cyber truck do it in VI or ikoyi not onikan |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 5:27pm On Sep 25 |
A40:Even if u carry goons go there, u go press money. All the touts from Obalende, CMS and Isale Eko proper dey converge for that kind axis. Except you Intend to unalive some of them with your security escorts, you go still press money no matter the number of goons u carry go there. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 5:30pm On Sep 25 |
GloriousGbola:How are you blaming a Nigerian international player for driving his Cybertruck to go watch a Nigerian league match? 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ Na wa o 😲 |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 5:35pm On Sep 25 |
A40:In Yankee, there are certain neighborhood you wont drive a luxury car into without security escorts or if you pass, you dare not stop or park, You are just begging to be mugged My friend in 2008 had his Range Rover taken from him in South Chicago after he got robbed the took his SUV for a joyride |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by GloriousGbola: 5:40pm On Sep 25 |
BlueRayDick:then you should have driven with your oyibos in ph without military escort the same reason why you went with a military escort in ph is the same reason AJ was in an armoured car when he was traveling to ogun state do you also drive around with military escort when going to work daily? if you decide for whatever reason that you are going into the hood proper without an escort then you go incognito - not in a cybertruck, which is one of the loudest most attention grabbing vehicles out there if i were to drive a G wagon into ajegunle today there is no way i would not be disturbed. now take a cybertruck which is a very loud very notice me vehicle and it will be amplified. this is why they say athletes are idle rich, with money but not intelligence |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 5:42pm On Sep 25 |
Realmrsean:Do you know where Onikan is? See don't let all these people trying to defend agberoism whine you. Onikan is less than 2 minutes from Victoria Island ; In fact it's the starting point of Victoria Island if you are going from CMS/Lagos Island side. It's not some ghetto like Mushin or Ajegunle. The stadium is a stone throw from Victoria Island. If you can't drive your luxury vehicle to such place, where then can you drive your vehicle in Lagos? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 5:45pm On Sep 25 |
GloriousGbola:So Onikan is Ajegunle right? Abi u no know where the show of shame happened? Onikan Stadium is literally on the other side of where Ahmadu Bello way starts in VI. If not for how the state government seem to condone thuggery, why should that show of shame even happen in such place? It doesn't even make sense comparing traveling a long distance in a place like PH with history of kidnap and ransom with driving to a place like Onikan that is situated in a densely populated business district |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 5:49pm On Sep 25 |
If person tell me say one day I go see PR for agberoism, I for say na lie ![]() The Nigeria I grew up in, you see fine car, na to admire am go your way, but these days it's to put the owner in prayers against getting mugged |

BlueRayDick:you dont know that the whole marina axis is and has always been a hotbed of thugs? the same marina where they have blinded people in robberies on the bridge? the same place where area boys during one of the lagos parades raped one of the lady dancers in broad daylight? the same marina where i have seen riff raff come out and start breaking peoples windows in daylight? one night i was closing late from a site maybe 10pm and there was an army of thugs walking along marina towards cms. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 5:52pm On Sep 25 |
Theflint1:As in...... The amusing part is how they are making it seem like the duy drug a cybertruck into a Brazilian Favela. The probably drove from Lekki to Onikan which staying point of Victoria Island and tbey are trying to blame him like he did the unthinkable |
