NORTH HAS HELD NIGERIA HOSTAGE TOO LONG!🔥 2027 WILL BE CHAOS IF RESTRUCTURING IS NOT DONE NOW! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bE3Vya4K_Y In this video, we’re diving into a major conversation shaking up Nigeria right now—restructuring. A retired public servant, Dr. Akin Fapohunda, has submitted a draft bill to the presidency, pushing for a complete overhaul of how Nigeria is governed. His reason? He says if nothing changes before 2027, the country could be headed for chaos! So what’s in this bill? Dr. Fapohunda is calling for Nigeria to be restructured into eight regions, each managing its own resources and governance. No more over-reliance on Abuja, no more bloated government, and no more leaders spending recklessly while ordinary Nigerians suffer. He argues that the current system, with 36 states and 774 local governments, is draining the country dry, forcing Nigeria to keep borrowing just to survive! And here’s the kicker—he says elections at the federal level would be scrapped. Instead, regional governments would elect their representatives, who would then choose the president and prime minister. This, he believes, would cut costs, increase accountability, and force politicians to answer directly to the people who put them in power. But will the presidency listen? Will the political elite allow such a radical change? And if restructuring doesn’t happen, what kind of chaos are we looking at in 2027? Guys, I’ll let you watch this video for yourself so you can see exactly what I’m talking about. Also, don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe to this channel if you haven’t already done so. In addition, the 36 States should also be dissolved, they are not necessary. Rather, the 774 Local government will choose what Region they want to belong to. States are not necessary in Regionalism |

Itaekuson3: We already have 37regions Aging another 8 layer will make it more bloated Spending by govt is always reckless [/quote] And here’s the kicker—he says elections at the federal level would be scrapped. Most Yorubas want restructuring.. that's the only way for the country to move forward. The two tribes who don't want restructuring are the Igbos and Fulanis.. that's why they ganged up in NDC to make sure restructuring doesn't happen. You can even see one of them saying he is against State Policing, but they can sign unconstitutional Sharia law and Hisbah Police into law in their own States. Yorubas and all the progressive tribes in South South & Middle Belt better wise up.. any silly mistake in 2027 may signal the beginning of the end for Nigeria. |

flokii:Absolutely. Being over-sophisticated against those who are crude and visceral will likely see you lose out. Regional autonomy is the way to go. Let us all accept, despite the fake unity talk, we are very different and wish to live very differently, in our respective regions, to others. This will be the basis of a great Nigeria. |

SalamRushdie:Can't you people be about ideas for once rather than be distractedly obsessed with personalities like Tinubu etal and hating on Yorubas? Central point is that we are very different nations lumbered together. Nigeria will never work as convened. If you arrive Britain, you must live as British folks wish to live. ditto USA, Sweden , Russia etc. Look at Northern Nigeria with Sharia. The South relatively secular. Let us make these differences formal with regional autonomy so all can live as they want in their corner of Nigeria. So that if the way of life of some is not for you then you stay away from them and live productively and happily in your region with people who have the same Ideas about life as you do. |

gidgiddy:Agreed. Coalesce States into six geo-political zones of SE, SW,,SS, NC, NW and NE. The Geo-political zone can then create their own more cost-effective LG arrangement. There is so much to be done to improve Nigeria but the problem is lack of political will from those benefitting from the current rot in the the system. They are not even minimally interested in implementing required changes because profiting from the malfeasance in the administrative system is paramount for them. This is why PBAT has to be given a lot of credit. He has implemented a lot of brave, pivotal and fundamental reform non other has attempted since 1999. The regional development commissions for every geo-political zones of Nigeria, as an example, is a game-changer if the leaders of the respective commissions will lead well and dedicatedly. |
